The simple life, fake teeth on 6 year old????

I saw a show on HBO once about beuaty pagents and little girls-it was horrifying!! The way the parents pushed those kids and the kids didn't really even seem to want it half as much as the mothers. One kid had siblings and the mother totally ignored them to focus on the one kids pagents. They made them up so much they looked like little hookers IMO!!!

Well since I haven't seen the current Simple Life I can't really comment on it but I live in Ozark where the first was filmed and let me tell you everything about it was FAKE and staged!.

I noticed that too! Her teeth look HUGE. I was reminded of Jim Carrey in "The Mask".

OMG I saw that! I couldn't believe how the parents push those poor kids! I couldn't believe they would take that little girl and dye her hair, she was so young and her hair was so damaged already

Another show that is out is "sunset tan" on "E" I think.... anyway, a Mom came into the tanning salon with her little girl (couldn't have been older than 8 or 9) saying that she wanted her daughter to be the tannest one in her school pictures. THe guy suggested the "cocktail" which is a spray tan AND a bed session. I didn't even think it was LEGAL for a little girl to go into an actual tanning bed. He suggested it b/c Lindsay Lohan gets the "cocktail"- the Mom looks at the little girl, "You want to look like Lindsay Lohan don't you???".....
Sickening...

I saw that too! They didn't show the little girl getting a real tan, just a spray tan (which she was obviously a little scared about). So I hope she didn't go in a tanning bed.

And what mom wants their kid to be like Lindsey Lohan? That mom was just a rolling freakfest.

Watching shows like that can be such a train wreck. You know it is terrible an you should stop, but it is so amazing you are just stunned and can't change the channel.

That's so true! I don't think I've ever watched an episode of Simple Life, but I happened to catch that one. I think it was the horror of what those poor little girls looked like and the insane mothers who had them with Paris and Nicole.
