When we left Small World it was still raining but not nearly as much as before. We wandered down into Liberty Square and checked out the gift shop. We were pretty much just killing time now until Wishes.

We eventually decided that we should just go ahead and grab our spot for Wishes before it was taken. As we were crossing the bridge a Dream Team member was sprinkling pixie dust on a guest and asked all of us nearby to sing them Happy Birthday. So this lucky guest got serenaded by us and a few other guests.

Luckily when we arrived at our favoured fireworks viewing spot there were still plenty of tables available. If you are wondering where we view them from we like to watch from the Tomorrowland Terrace. There are a bunch of tables and chairs there and there is an overhang that could protect us from the rain should it start up again.

Can you believe that we managed to get a bit of a sunburn during the brief moments of sunshine throughout the day! Doesn't Alek look impressed?

I took a bunch of pictures of the castle and then the batteries in the camera died! Erich had taken my camera back to the room with him and silly me had put our fresh pair of batteries in it right before he left. Now I had no batteries which meant no pictures of Wishes! I was not having that so I left to go get some batteries. I headed over to Merchant of Venus and had the privilege of paying for some over-priced batteries.

With batteries in the camera I headed back to our viewing spot.

When I got back to the table Mom was gone, she was off shopping on Main St so it was just me and Alek at the table.

As we sat there talking I felt a strange scratching on my leg. Remembering stories of ducks that would come up and bother people for food I thought that is all it was so I stood up to take a look at what was down there. When I stood up a RAT FELL OFF MY LEG!

its true there really was a rat although lessa really wasn't scared and just like the commercials say Disney truly is a magical place as the rat and lessa became good friends and even posed for a picture * You can clearly tell this is not a old picture as mom is not in it and lessa has a rash *
