Don't you just love the flexibility of an Annual Pass I bought my first one because I was going to a conference in Orlando in May and we had a family vacation in September that year so it was cheaper to get the pass. The next spring rolled around and I was looking at my Pass, noticed how little time was left on it and called my husband and said I needed to get back down there before my pass ran out. I thought I was kidding - so he said "go ahead" He thought he was kidding I was booking flights for another work trip (not for me but for my co-workers) and since I was talking to the travel agency I had them check flights to Orlando I called him back with the prices... he thought he could find better ones online...and next thing I knew - I was booked for another solo trip! I got three trips out of that pass. Now we get them more often - but that first one was special

Hope you are having a great time with Family and for some a white Christmas. It is not white here yet... Just started raining and it is supposed to turn to snow later.

Things start to get silly here.

Now to Goofy. Out of control. I wish I had video. Goofy starts dancing with A. Now I have no idea what I am doing here.

It looks like he is pulling my hair here.

Those are just some of the crazy ones of me. We had so much fun and doing this on the first night really got us in the mood. These are 2 friends I can really let loose with and not worry about embarrassing myself because we just laugh at each other.
We leave the character connection and take some “normal” photpass pictures.

It is about 12:30 and we have been up travelling and now dancing around with characters. We head back to All star Music and will return in the morning to catch as many storytellers as we can.

My husband thought TSA may have lifted during one of his trips but alas, after I replaced it witht he waterproof one, it came tumbling out of a travel bag.

Well, naturally!

In my paranoid, suspicious DH's defense, since he routinely travels with electronics, his luggage gets searched just about every time he flies. He has found so many TSA slips in his checked luggage, he said he could wallpaper his office. Well, that and he never thinks he misplaces something, so someone must have taken it.

I felt a little guilty leaving my friends and they were not 100% on the axe wielding internet friends . I wish now I had dragged them up there and spent more time hanging out with them. I am so glad our paths crossed later, several times.

Dave and Kathy (who had that awesome room last year) will be there again this NYE, if anyone is interested in going by and meeting some really nice people.

As of now, we are planning to go down next year on Christmas afternoon and stay until January 2nd.

I know, I know. I really think I was more concerned about horning in than being axed. Of course now, I would not give it a second thought to just plop down and make myself at home. Blame that on what little shyness I still have left.

Yeah, Jill thinks she and her boss are going to swap out the Christmas to New Year's weeks every other year, so next year would be her year to have it. I am hoping she'll get on with the school system in the next couple of years, and then it won't ever be a factor; she'll just have that time off anyway.

I am so glad my friends agreed to this trip. We had lots of Pixie dust this trip. I was so worried during the most crowded time of year that all we would do was stand in lines. We seemed to zig when everyone else zagged.

We were up pretty early and had to pack up so we could move to the Coronado.

I really enjoyed your goofy pics with the characters! I always enjoy seeing other adults having fun with the characters, makes me feel less shy with them as well!

One thing I meant to ask about your Blizzard Beach update: I realized that you did not go on Teamboat Springs (or what it is called, the family raft ride). The one time I was at BB I did not go on it either, because I was on my own and thought I would need to be a group. Is that true, or would they put you in a raft with other riders? I am not so sure wether I want to sit in a raft with strangers while wearing a bathing suit, but I would love to know wether this is even an option. You appear to be the most knowledgeable person to ask this!

We have enjoyed our two stays at All-Star Music. It's especially nice for a holiday trip when the lobby has the tree and decorations.
