I bought a jar of the salt scrub in April. They had a sample setup in the store and I tried it. We were walking around Downtown Disney and I kept thinking how soft my hands were. There is oil in with the salt. I ended up going back and buying it. I use it once or twice a week (only need a little) and there's probably half left. I rub it into my nails, it has helped with hangnails.

I love the body butter. I bought my kids some Mickey bath bombs when I was there in May - they loved them. Can't wait to go back and get some more, I may even try some of the shampoo bars since they are getting such good reviews here.

I always browse that store in the past but was overwhlemed (LOL), but my last trip I finally bought a slice of soap called Calming Calamine.

Has anyone tried loving hands massage bars (these are now 50% off, or hair food shampoo bars?

Yes and yes. The massage bars are just alright, but the shampoo bars are wonderful. They're good for about 30 shampoos or so, and they smell great. Of course, I can't remember the name of the one I bought, but it smells like cocoa and doesn't leave my hair frizzy. Usually I have to use a hair straighten to get the frizz out after I blowdry, but since I've used Basin's shampoo bars I haven't had to do it as much.

Wow, there is one right by me in DTD at Disneyland and I have never been in there. I guess it seemed like something I wouldn't like. But I am for sure going in a few weeks to buy some of the products. I always go to Sephora and get suckered into buying waaaaaaay too much! Thanks guys for the info:)

I *love* Basin! Their citrus bath bombs smell soooooooo good (heck, there isn't much of anything that doesn't smell good in that store) :)

We're definitely stopping in when we get to WDW in 3 weeks. WOO!

Oh, a quick question about the shampoo bars: Are they messy with longer or thicker hair? I've been curious as to how they'd work with mine.

Also, I picked up some of the lemon creme bath crystals for a friend the last time we were there, and she loved the scent. I liked the black currant salts, too!

Thank you everyone. I had never heard of Basins, I went to there web site and am going to place an order. Next time i'm at WDW I wll go to DTD & visit the Basin store.

If you like Basin try Lush the next time you are in the Orlando Airport.

I like thier bath bombs better then Basins, but boy do they make a mess, (you are warned when you read the lables I mean they have flowers in them!) They also have great lip treatment.

I'm allergic to the store--I can't even go in :(

I have to stand way far away while my famliy goes in--that is how sensitive I am to the smells. Can't even window shop :(

Allergic to anything floral scented. Not sure if that's the smell I'm picking up--but the combination of chemicals used to make the floral scents. Whatever they use is pretty strong.

I have to use unscented laundry soap as well.

If you like Basin try Lush the next time you are in the Orlando Airport.

There's a LUSH at the Orlando Airport? I have discovered that store in in Victoria B.C. last year and have been special ordering their coal face soap ever since. I like Basin too, but my skin is addicted to coal face.

Where in the terminal is LUSH located?

pinnie

Lush is in the shopping area between the two terminals (A and B) right near the food court.

I found Lush in London and I love it, but if the scents at Basin bother you avoid Lush, it smells even stronger.

(I may have to use a Lush bath bomb tonight thanks to this thread!)

Thanks, Carol. Looks like a stop at Lush before I pick up the car and luggage is in order in a few weeks. We get in a tad too lake to stop at DTD that night! I always start my trip with a bath bomb!

Looks like we will be down there around the same time!!
