The shop called Basin, at Disneyworld

HI! I have never heard of this store. I'll be at Disney in about 5 days. I would like to check this store out. Where exactly is it? :sunny:

Its in Downtown Disney (Marketplace). Just follow your nose! :D

Thanks for posting this. Several years ago my wife and I bought some massage soap at the Basin store at Disneyland. Once we got home and before we could use it, our basset hound found and ate it!!!! He was fine, but we couldn't remember the name of the store where we bought the soap. Mandy was really disappointed. Now I can order more!

I can't remember what its NEXT to. Its a little off the beaten path, like behind the main stores and closer to the parking lot. I think its across from World of Disney (side of the store), but I can't be sure. I know you have to hang a left and head off the main "path" to the store.

wow..thanks for posting the picture. I've been to DTD a few times and don't remember ever seeing this store. I will be looking for it for sure. It looks like a really nice store. Is it kind of like B&BW?

Love this store! I make a point of visiting every time I'm in DD. :teeth:

It's easy to overlook if you don't know to look for it. It's kind of back in an "alley" behind the Ghirardelli place.....

My name is Pinne and I am a BASIN addict.

I love the bath bombs, especially the bath marbles! The lavender ones are fantastic.

I also use the coconut mararoon shampoo bars. They are wonderful for traveling. In addition, I also have the Milk Bath *heavenly* and the sugar scrub.

I make it a point to stop there every time we are at WDW to stock up on my supplies. I do use the web site (just got the new antibacterial soap) when I am running low and a trip isn't for a few months!

I am planning on getting some shampoo bars as little gifts for Christmas!

It's right across the path from World of Disney, behind Ghirardelli, next to Arriba's Brothers.

I just received (today) an order off of their website. I can't wait to shop in the store when we are at Disney in December.

the Web site, and all the products look good--great Prices too!::yes:: Are the prices the same at the store, or are they more? Can hardly WAIT for my trip in 20 days!:hyper:

I looooveee the Mango Body Butter. Just two weeks ago, I bought more of the Mickey bath bombs with the little Mickey heads that fizz up in the water (my 4 yr old loves them....OK, I do too :) )

I also bought an orange loofah scrubby which is basically a bar of soap with a loofah in it. I tried it last night and love it! Oooh, I also bought the lime soap and it smells delicious.

Now I have to go to the basin website...

Dang it! Because of this thread, I ended up going to Basin tonight and buying some massage soap, shampoo bar, facial cleanser, and two bath bombs :) Oh well, gave me an excuse to go to DTD twice in one day :)

Basin is wonderful. I made two stops there last spring to stock up on soaps. Their lavender scented soap is so nice. I'll have to try the shampoo bars next time.

Not at all!!!! If you are reluctant to try the big ones, buy a bag of the bath "marbles" and try those! I am counting down the days I go back and replenish my supply!
