Yep, I was well-stocked after that.

We had never seen the Animal Kingdom rope drop so that was fun, too bad it was raining.

I'm glad you were able to get some stuff for your mysterious rash and I hope it helped quickly! I cannot wait to see some rope drop shows - seriously, I can't wait! Sorry about the rain, but I'm hoping it had the silver lining of making the ride lines shorter! My dh is like that in the morning, he needs some coffee and some time to wake up (which means that I will likely be taking one or both of my boys to the parks without him in the morning cuz I'm not waiting on anyone THIS trip! I told him that and he said "no, no, I'll be ready in time!" Some people are morning people and some people are night owls - it's all good

Oh, and I am soooooooooo getting that cinnamon bun - it looks delish! Good luck to any CM that tries to take that away from me

We didn't really experience any long lines the whole trip. Don't know if that was due to the rain, the time of year or my superb park planning skills.

The cinnamon roll was so good! It was huge too, very filling!

I believe it is considered a snack. Don't quote me on that though, we haven't used the dining plan since our 07 trip.

The pain was never really bad in the morning, but as they day went on it would get worse and worse. I have never had foot pain like that before and I hope I never do again.

The rain, well we were used to it after being there during Fay last year. In fact 3 out of 4 trips it has been rainy.

December 1997 - rained and drizzled pretty much the whole week. We spent Christmas Day at Blizzard Beach since we were already getting wet anyways. I have vivid memories of watching the Christmas parade all huddled up in my yellow Mickey poncho as it rained down on us. We don't have a single sunny picture from that trip.

July 07 - It was nice pretty much the whole time aside from our Animal Kingdom day where it rained the whole time and then of course the usual afternoon thunder shower.

August 08 - Tropical Storm Fay

May 09 - Rain, rain, and more rain

I can understand that, if you don't travel to WDW often and then it rains on your trip it is probably really disappointing. Here's hoping for a rain free trip for you and your family in September! My family won't be traveling then so you are pretty much guaranteed nice weather.

Sorry about your mug lid. I love the pics of the AK opening show. The safari ones are great too.

I really want to stay AKL concierge so I can take the Sunrise Safari. Then they actually stop the truck so you can get nice pictures instead of the fuzzy ones I get half the time on the regular safari.

One of our group was staying concierge at AKL and she mentioned the meet to them and inquired if it could be arranged for a photopass photographer to be there. And viola he was there!

Sure we did! Did you not see the tiara Rosie was sporting? We had Focker royalty.

your opening pics look good even in the rain and your sleeve.....we also always go to the safari first feel it is the best time to see animals, but frompeoples pics, it seems that they get really good ones during the middle of the day as well.

It rained during our last trip when we went to AK too.

All I am asking for is one nice day in AK! Every other park we have had nice days but AK we get nothing but rain.
