The Sea Witch Stole My Voice! Our Two Week Land and Sea Adventure! COMPLETE 4/12

No!! Not the last night! :sad2:

I can't believe it's been about 10 months since we met and this journey started! It's been awesome to read all about it. I hope when I visit TO this year (not sure when yet) we can meet again!

I know! Hard to believe it has been almost a year. Hopefully we will get to meet up again soon!

How did I get so far behind?? :confused3

The pictures of the sky and boat were really cool. :thumbsup2 The final show sounds like a nice way to end things. Can't wait to hear about your dinner. :goodvibes

Aww man! I cannot believe that your cruise is ending! I loved all the pics of the cruise ship! And the ending show looks nice--but sad!

Hey Lessa - I'm up to the first day of your cruise, and i have to say this is the best trip report I have read so far. Can't wait to read the rest!

Thanks for posting it! :goodvibes

Sad to see it over....I kind of feel like this TR has been years long (in a good way). :happytv:

After those last character pictures of the trip we made our way to Parrot Cay for our last meal of the trip. The menu that night "Til We Meet Again". DCL was yet again reinforcing the fact that we had to get off the ship in the morning. :sad1:

Mom and I had originally booked a Palo dinner for this night but opted to cancel the reservation the day before in favour of dining with our tablemates and servers one last time. We would not be going to the farewell breakfast in the morning so this would be our last time seeing them.

My meal this night was delicious! Very tasty! Sadly the pictures didn't turn out too well.

This was basically a Caesar Salad

My steak, it was super delicious! The best meal of the cruise aside from Palo brunch.

The entire meal was scrumptious and we had a good time chatting with everybody. My throat started to feel very sore and I was sounding very hoarse. I figured it was just because I was having to raise my voice to be heard over the loud tables around us...

Before leaving we had to get a picture of our serving team!

The last night all the servers have a parade around the restaurant carrying flags from their countries and they don the international flag vests.

One of the servers also took a picture of our table for us using one of the cameras. I had them send it to me after the trip as we all exchanged e-mails.

As you can see we were all very casually dressed that night so don't think you need to be super dressed up for dinner every night.

Finished with our meals it was time to present our servers with their tip envelopes. You can give them cash or you can pay via credit card at the Guest Service desk and they will give you a tip ticket to give to the servers. Mom and I opted for that option. We couldn't find our head waiter so we had to entrust his tip envelope with our server. Bidding them farewell we left our servers for the last time that trip.

It really does look like you had great tablemates-that's the scariest part of any cruise. If you have great mates, it makes meals so fun and something not to dread!:thumbsup2
