The Sagamore is a beautiful resort. Since it is part of the Concierge Collection, you can stay there any number of nights (up to the number of points you have)... The Lodge suites are similar to nice one bedroom condos at a ski resort, but VERY clean and well kept. In my opinion, "Rustic" refers to the fact that some of the furniture is 'adirondack style' (woodsy type stuff).. Not to be confused with "rustic" like a state park cabin. The Sagamore is a luxury resort and rents those accommodations for over $300 a night (in slow season).. We stayed there last month for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Lodge Suites have a living room with fireplace and TV, small kitchen with Refrig, small 2 burner stove, microwave and dishes (no pots).. The bedroom had a king size bed, second TV, night stands and dresser. The suite had lots of closet space and a nice sized bathroom. It also had a balcony with two rocking chairs that overlooked Lake George. I believe
DVC also offers suites in the main building. These suites (I think) are more 'victorian' styled and probably do not have a balcony.
You can see pictures of the resort, including pictures of the room at their web site at

The restaurants in the resort are a bit expensive. Mr. Browns Pub has decent sandwiches and pub fare. The Trillium is a great restaurant if you want to go for a nice, romantic dinner,, BUT it's rathe expensive... If you like German food, there is a restaurant right down the road from the Sagamore called Pumpernickels, they have decent German food and a HUGE working cookoo clock (about 2 stories tall)...
