The Running Thread -- 2022

there's fewer of you to judge my brain-moment here, so this is where I'm asking. DS1 snapped the inside part of the hinge on DS2's goodrs yesterday. So they're broken. Is this a warranty thing? Or does DS1 now owe his brother a pair of sunglasses? We're still well within the 1yr window.
If whatever DS1 was up to was beyond "normal use" it wouldn't typically be covered under warranty for any product. However, some companies just really want to keep their customers happy so I suggest contacting goodr to ask what your options are.

I recently found myself the owner of a new hydration belt because Nathan decided it be so. All I asked was how I could buy a replacement bottle because one of mine leaks and instead received a whole new belt. I was pleasantly surprised and it definitely created a loyalty to the brand that I didn't have previously.

Same thing happened with me and Nathan. One of my bottles split, and I asked them if I could get a new one (which in itself was dumb, because I had other bottles from a previous belt, but they changed the top and they are not backwards compatible). They sent me a whole new belt. I gave it to my SIL (and just bought new bottles--with yet another cap)

ATTQOTD: I haven't been running nearly as long as many on here. My most run race is the WDW marathon at 6 times. It goes up to 7 if you consider the 2020 virtual-only race, but I don't typically include it.

ATTQOTD:
I’ve just been running since 2014, so my most run races won’t be as much as some! 😬

Route 66 Marathon- 7 times (includes one virtual marathon, 2022 still to come)

My local race (Prairie Fire) has fall and spring races - if I combined those numbers (and included both half and full races) then this one would probably win at 10 (7 halves, 3 fulls).

I don’t typically count virtual races in my numbers of marathons (or halves) run, but since I’m on a streak with this race and a virtual marathon is no joke (!!), I’m including it here. And I did some Strava Art with its logo, so it was fun.

ATTQOTD: Not much repeat. One tradition in becoming was the 5k at des Érables with DH and DD (2018 and 2019) but it has been postponed for three years. Next time we do it, we won’t run together, DD is too fast.

ATTQOTD: I've been running since 2014, but I tend to want to try out different races so I don't usually run the same race more than once or twice. My most-repeated race is the Cherry Blossom 10-Miler at 3 times, with one being virtual during the pandemic.

ATTQOD: The most of any race series I have done are Spartan Races with 20 in total, consisting of 9 Sprints, 6 Supers and 5 Beasts.
Non-OCR... Cow Harbor 10k 4x (great local 10k that draws professional runners from across the country)
and then a bunch of others tied at 3x including Walt Disney World Marathon

ATTQOTD: Disney Marathon, followed closely by/or tied with (too lazy to figure it out) Disney half. I don't race a lot and don't tend to repeat races.

The only other races I've run multiple times is the Martian 1/2 Marathon, which is close to me. And Boston.
