There has been nothing that has come up on this lately. We would have probably seen it on the casting website if this was true.

She said they were starting with current performers at the parks. Doesn't seem like theres much information being said if it's true. it seems preliminary. And for all I know she could have no idea what she's talking about.

I've heard from a CM in entertainment that MK has started casting and early rehearsals for a new nighttime parade. Has anyone else heard anything on this? I know not to trust everything a CM says but this intrigues me

No, nothing has been posted externally on casting, but there is no reason Disney couldn't cast internally using current CM performers, especially if the parade is temporary or limited-time.

No, neither can I. The only possibility I can think of is that MSEP is returning for yet another "final run"... But I do doubt that considering they released "glowing away" merch when it left for DLR. Time will tell i'm sure!

Unless it is a quick money grab to sell more merchandise, I just don't see what the benefit to them of bringing back a night time parade for now is - they are still getting crowds for HAE and we aren't that far away from Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opening which will bring in tons of crowds, etc.

For the 50th I get it, but what is the benefit to Disney of having a night time parade right now?

I get it and I am sure a lot of people would like it (though I also see some comments form people that like there not being a parade as it helps with congestion, etc)

I do hope for a night time parade some day!

The latest IP front runner according to Martin was Mary Poppins. Still not quite sure what type of ride it’s going to be.

I hope it’s a Mary Poppins dark ride but please keep in mind it could be just a simple Mary Poppins themed carousel. Disney has a couple of ride options in mind and Martin isn’t sure which one they decided on.

Obviously I would love as cool and innovative a ride as possible but would love a carousel - I actually think Disney needs more simple rides that people can ride or pass on, etc. - feels like with all the new expansions it's 2 big rides in each area and that is it

I agree with you, more simple rides would help alleviate some wait off the E tix and a simple ride could really benefit in World Showcase because it would help families with small children venture into the countries without costing Disney much.

I would be down for just a cute carousel! If it was Mary Poppins themed definitely!

Per Martin it may not BE a ride. It is still in final discussions. I am not feeling great about this one.

So could we be seeing another circlevision film with no IP or still something IP related? I agree with BigRed and Max and think that smaller attractions could benefit that park so a carousel may be great!

OKay lots of news....
First Disney has confirmed Feb 2nd is the end of Circle of Life film in Land. New show will replace, no idea of what as of yet.

Secondly, confirmed by Magicfeather and Martin at WDWMagic.com that Brazil will start soon, between Germany and Italy, and to make room they are demoing the Performing arts building back stage.

Thirdly - IP Locked on UK ride to be Mary Poppins, the IP is supposedly locked now, what ride or attraction is still not locked, but Brave is off the table

Last but not least - one option for WS - Brazil first then Spain THEN a third Pavillion still unknown. this is just a maybe.
