Nope, I can't see them doing both Tiana Liberty Belle dining and HM restaurant, but then if one is a TS and other is QS then maybe. Unless HM location will actually be a bar or something like that (ala Trader Sams?!). Now that'd be cool!!

I would have to look at it again but I don't recall the Liberty Belle being large enough to house a restaurant.

crazy to think how much activity used to be on the lake - with the river boats, the keel boats, the canoes, etc. - and now there might not be anything

Yes, I guessed it would be post 50th now. Do you think they have much else (big projects wise) currently unannounced for the 50th? Yes, those rafts would not suffice for a major attraction. A bridge sounds most likely, but as you say, that'll affect the riverboat. I wonder if they'd just remove the island and rivers all together and make a new bit of land? Or maybe make the island a lot smaller and move it back/make the river smaller to create new land for a new attraction?

I wouldn't like them removing the whole island. There is a certain ambiance to that area with the water/boat etc. Big Thunder wouldn't be as great without the water surrounding it either.

I think the Philippines rumor is being driven by someone/something approaching Disney about it. There is a lot of local tourism/development taking place within Manila and Quezon City. I think they might be looking to replicate Morocco in a way. But most of those companies are tied to casinos and I don't think Disney would want to partner with that.

Not in a thousand years will they relocate that aquarium. That would be hugely expensive, if even possible.

It's actually as big as Spaceship Earth if I remember correctly...yeah, not moving that.

Agreed. We were told on the Aqua tour the other day that it was the second largest cylindrical aquarium in North America, after the one in Atlanta -- 5.7 million gallons. Don't see them moving that.

Yup. Spaceship earth would fit in the tank, with a bit of the top sticking out. Per our awesome Aqua Tour guide. I highly recommend the tour btw!

Pandora expansion and Australia make sense, but moving Living Seas seems extreme. Have to believe idea of Asia expansion with Giant Pandas has Been kicked around as well.

Dinosaur is the same ride as Indy in DL, but I doubt they will bring Indy into AK.

I did the Dolphins in Depth tour (which was awesome) and I thought I remembered them saying that.

Original rumor was from Visionary - That being the current dinosaur area of DAK will be converted to Indiana Jones.
Further from Martin - Something will happen to dinosaur area in next 5 years or so - but no idea of what IP is targeted
Further from Magic Feather - I. J. IS one option for this redo - and is one of the top two options for it.


So yes there does seem to be some action for long term to redo dino area, and IJ is one option on the table
