Okay lets see if we can bring some order to this.....or not

MK - Multiple posters (not known insides to my knowledge..) are stating we are now seeing an update to TL.
Work already beginning on food places. Rumors are:
1) Stitch closed to be replaced by ??? - originally assued WiR, but that seems to be off the table
2) Speedway change - update is one option, reduction and new item in is another, full replacement for some Tron or WiR ride also heard
3) CoP getting new end scene update
Some rumors that Frontier land may be getting some sprucing as well.

EPCOT -
One rumor has the Epcot name going away totally - I find this very hard to believe.
Innovations revamp and update - confirmed by Martin
2 expansions in WS - The Rat in France and potentially a new country added(with or without attraction in it).
Per Martin - GotG is still targeted for UoE
Per Martin - Mission Space gets a spruce up
Per a few sources - The Land will get an update - but this will be later on
Much speculation that eventually Imagination will get a revamp - not confirmed.
Update to main entrance to park - moving out the "tombstones "

DHS -
Confirmed date by Disney of TSL and SWE - being completed by 2019
GMR to new Mickey ride is still happening per Martin - although one other poster heard it was killed.

Resorts -
CBR - will have part of it removed and replaced by a DVC tower that will NOT be under CBR umbrella - Martin and Spirit
CS - will get more updates and be a business type resort, including updating and expansion of convention space
there will be at least two more resorts update - potential DVC adds, and one whole new resort - Martin, Spirit
One rumor has the new resort in the Epcot WS entrance area

Transportation -
Gondola ride to connect Epcot and resorts near EPCOT - to CBR(new DVC) to DHS and to AoA - potentially expanded later to include more
Some transportation from AKL to AK is being rumored, not Gondola or train
In the LONG TERM - busses will be supportive park transportation - not the main source

I think that is most. The whole WDW is being shook to its roots with all the new information released.

Huh, I completely forgot that this was up for discussion a year or so ago. Weren't they talking about pushing the land back behind BTMR?

Yes but I still think frontierland enhancements are a stretch right now. Tomorrowland seems to be the focus.

Technically Disney hasn't confirmed anything about dates for toy story.

Out of the two, they'd definitely hold on Frontierland until after the 50th.

Interesting to hear it's still up for discussion though.

Both will have access. The DVC tower will have its own station.

Some slightly new news from MagicFeather over at WDWMagic:

Since it was more general stuff leading up to the 50th, I though I'd put this post from @magic Feather here



So, prior to the 50th (in addition to Pandora, Toy Story, Star Wars, Mickey LPS ride), perhaps we'd see the GotG ride and Ratatouille open in Epcot. I'm guessing that would be in the 2020 timeframe for an opening

For the 50th itself, s/he indicates that they would be other Epcot offerings (a new country maybe? or other country getting a ride? FW improvements, at least with Innoventions?) . DHS might get other stuff and maybe something at DAK.

What would "the bulk" be at MK? A new potential ride in Tomorrowland has been hinted, in addition to a Stitch replacement. Quite possibly a new light parade and/or fireworks show. Perhaps new attention turned back to Frontierland for an attraction

The bulk will be plussing and refurbs. Lots and lots of plussing and refurbs. (At MK) Like how DL got a new Yeti and Hatbox.

So, we are getting some extra plussing coming.

And MK getting some love, and rides fixed. MagicFeather also called out that there could be a lot of push to get other parks done earlier, as MK will have alot of rides shut down in this Plussing period so folks could get frustrated with the amount shuttered.

I hope they replace speedway. It's got the potential space for such a great attraction like another coaster.

There are a few rumors out there on the Speedway. Some have them replacing it, some have them sprucing it up, some have them reducing it again to get more space for some other attraction.

I'd expect to see Tomorrowland, Epcot and more DHS announcements at this year's D23. I also wouldn't be surprised to hear more information about WDW's 50th anniversary.

I think they'll hold on 50th anniversary stuff. They have another convention in 2019 to cover 50th anniversary plans.

That is true. Could they announce some of the more major 50th changes (new rides etc.) this year? 2019 is cutting it a bit fine for announcing major changes isn't it?
