The Ring in HM Lineup

I think my absolutely favorite thing to do before each trip is to research all the Disney secrets and "tips & tricks". There is one I heard of recently that I had never heard before so I thought I would check with you experts to see if it's true and where to find it. I heard that the ring from the dead husband/wife as told in the story during the HM ride is buried but visible in the concrete in the lineup somewhere. I googled this but read it was paved over and is gone now. Does anyone know if it's still there or was replaced? If so, where about is it (ground, wall)? I'd love to find this one next time!

This is at WDW. I don't know of one at DLR.

Yes, this is definitely a WDW thing, I don't think I've ever heard it referred to at DLR.

The Imagineers knew of the original ring story when they redid the HM queue a few years back and embedded a "real" ring in the pavement--this is what is pictured above. Interestingly when I checked on it a few weeks ago while there, it was gone. I asked a nearby CM as to its whereabouts and she replied that the ghosts has taken it for polishing. Hopefully it will return soon if it's not back already.

Queen is correct, it's in WDW. The original "ring" was based on the remnants of a removed guidepost, but they put in a real ring when they added the interactive queue. For more details see this thread with pictures of the original ring.
