yea, I think I might get stuff for Syl's graduation too!!! LOL And the guy's birthdays next month. So much to do, so little time and money!!! LOL

The graduation stuff was really cute too. We are having an graduation party for Amanda May 7th, but she didn't want to get any decorations . I know what you mean about so little time and money .

There's nothing better than getting party decorations at the Dollar Tree. I was just thinking about the graduation stuff too. Lacey has a Mission graduation for every year she completes. Meaning, I guess I'll have another graduation party in July.

I just love Dollar Tree. I made a gift basket of baby stuff for my niece a couple of years ago and it was really cute, and it was stuffed with things for the baby. Amanda's graduation party is May 7th so between now and Disney I will be busy .

I can't believe I missed the party pics! I loved everything from the decor to the fruit & chocolate...but that cake!!! That was SO awesome! I agree, too, that you can't beat dollar tree for decorations. That place is great.

Hi Dana! Your Disney party turned out great! I have all of those decorations for our Lilo and Stitch night! I love that Baker's chocolate, we buy it all the time for our strawberries!

Your vacation is approaching fast! I hope you only have sunny skies all week while you are there...NO RAIN! Your shoes are probably still drying from last year!

Have Amanda and Matt set a wedding date yet?

Hey Wendy . We had a really good time at the Disney party. I'm so glad I got the BRB . I had a hard time deciding which decorations I wanted. The Dollar Tree had tons of the Tiki stuff. I think the Baker's chocolate is 'da bomb'. I had never seen it before, but you can bet it will be bought many more times .

I'm really getting excited about our trip. I can't wait to get to the CBR and check it out. I really didn't care for the cabins last year, and the rain made it much worse. I hope we are dry this year .

Amanda and Matt have set May 18, 2012 as a date for the wedding. Matt's mom is so excited she is making the menu already . His mom owns a catering and florist business so she is making plans........

We are sooooooooo close to our vacations. I just want to be finished with work so I can really get in the Disney mode.

I can't believe I have gotten so far behind . I worked 12 hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so I have been one tired Diser. I am off today and back to work for 12 hours on Saturday and Sunday . We have been extremely busy at work lately and we have all been pulling some extra time. More Disney money though .

Oh well, on to Disney news. I signed on this morning and was checking to make sure all my ADRs were set to go and I couldn't pull up two of them . They were my last two; Friday May 28th at Grand Floridian Cafe, and Saturday May 29th at Kona. I called the dining line and the CM was able to pull them up for me . She told me that if I have a conformation number then the ressies are made and I don't have anything to worry about , yeah right. Dallas and I will sit down next week and start to plan out our days. I know we will be at AK on Sunday because it is when we have our GG with Leanne and Mary . I am so excited about that .

I know I don't have to tell anyone here just how excited I am about this trip . The past 5 months have not been the best for me and I think this trip is just what I need. I am also super happy to be seeing some of my Dis friends again and meeting up with everybody else . I think I have the best Dis friends around


So, in 4 weeks and 1 Day we will be on our way to Disney. I have our reservation for Saturday night, but I am still looking at different hotels for that night . We keep going back and forth on renting a car. Unless I get a really good rate somewhere, we will just drive our car.

I'm kinda sad that Dale and I aren't going to be at Talladega for the race this weekend, but I have to work .

you are down to days now! How excited!! you really have a lot to look forward too with your disney trip, amandas party, only 11 days more of work! How exciting! I know how excited you are about your trip I know how your last few months have been-- and disney will help for sure it really is a magical place!! Everytime i see the castle the first time during my trip i want to shed a tear LOL I am glad they were able to find your ADRS! I would have gone crazy if i went someplace to eat and they had no record of me having a ressie! i am going to catch up some more on your PTR hope you are having a great weekend!!

Hey Desiree I hope things have been going good for you!! I can't believe we are down to days now. It seems like this trip has been in the planning stages forEVERRR. I hope it doesn't rain on us this May like last year . I was really concerned about not being able to pull up my ADRs, but when I gave the CM the numbers she was able to pull them both up . Thanks on the weekend wishes. I am actually at work right now..shhhhhhh, and it has been a good day. Hoping tomorrow goes the same. I hope you have a great weekend too .

Thanks about the party . That cake was sooooooooooo good, my diet suffered for 3 days . I wish you could have flown down too, that would have been great . We all had a very good time, it's just depressing when the party is over .

That punch is the easiest thing in the world to make. It is sherbet and ginger ale. You can use any flavor sherbet you want, but I used orange with diet ginger ale this go around. I made two batches of it and it was gone long before the cake was even cut.........

Dana, I'm so sorry I've been missing in action. The last three weeks at work have been unbelievably busy, and then I had to take young Mark for his knee surgery, we've been scheduling appointments for chest x-ray, blood tests and MRI prior to DH's back surgery in July; and then we were planning our own September trip to Marco Island in Florida for September and decided that since we didn't have to pay taxes this year for the first time in years, that we would be able to swing four nights at Disney like we did last year. So I've been busy booking ADR's, resort, etc.

I can't believe your trip is so close...just 28 days. I promise to be more on top of your countdown.

Markie's surgery went fine. He was on crutches for about a week; he still is gimping a little, but not too bad. He has a minor tear and his kneecap was crooked so they fixed it.

I'm hoping this back surgery works as the shots sure didn't. They will file the bone spurs and are also removing two discs and putting in a rod. He won't be able to do the big rides at Disney in September, but that's okay...we'll make it a "quiet" Disney trip.
