That's bad...right? I can't remember your rating scale. It would seem to me the higher the flushes, the better the rating. Like a 4-diamond hotel or a 5-star restaurant.

He was very creepy. He would repeat the monorail spiel, but not in a funny kinda way.

Always the type of guy you want hanging around your children. How did you get a picture of him without rousing suspicion?

The CM at the register was flirting with me I think... It was a HE. I was flattered, but didn't flirt back.

Well, you ARE a very handsome man.

The game was really good! Oh.......yeah.....I'm supposed to be watching the kids too. Thankfully, no one was playing with knives.

You'll make a fine dad one day.

Okay, if you know me, you know I'm a clean freak. When it got close to the time for the adults to return, I started cleaning up.....call me OCD and I'd say "here"

The kids and I played this game...it was cool and a total uncle moment for me. It's one of those moments where I knew what it felt like to be a parent and the love you feel for your kids. then I had to discipline Erin for going into the room when I said many, many times that the bedrooms were off limits. Yeah, no parenting for me....

Hey, Jordan, there are always two sides to every coin! Especially when it comes to parenting!

(But isn't a little disciplining a small price to pay for those special "moments?")

Speaking as a parent, it was a lovely thing you did... babysitting while the others went for a quiet, kid-free dinner! I'm sure it was much-appreciated.

Looking forward to hearing about the evening at MK with DIS-friends...

Chapter 19. Blast off! Again..and a little down time

I have to admit, when I saw the title, I was expecting to read about another type of blast. Seeing as how Kim was already a bit woozy, it’s probably a good thing the morning empanada behaved.

So when I last left you dylan had conquered Test Track! and I had an unfortunate run in with leggings.....I'll spare you the picture recap....somewhere in the internet universe there is a collective sigh of relief..can you hear it? Can you?

I hear it!

After our Test Track adventure, we had time to spare since Wendy had changed her ADR to an hour later. We decided to ride Mission: Space. Wendy loves this ride. In 08? she spent a few hours on her own and rode M: S 6? 7? times IN A ROW!!!!!! One order of scrambled brains coming right up! That's what i call intestinal fortitude!

WOW. Now that’s an iron constitution!

Wendy's mission was to get Kim to ride it. She avoided it in 08. She gets motion sickness. I don't know how Wendy persuaded her to do it, but she did and she convinced her she had to do the ORANGE SIDE. Wendy would make a good politician... You could tell Kim was very apprehensive and those continual announcements saying to get out if you get motion sickness, etc. certainly didn't help.

We rode and Kim survived, although she did NOT feel good. I'm sure she was picturing wendy under a bus somewhere....

What are friends for if not to talk you into things that make you woozy!

When we got on the monorail, there was some minor technical problem so it took a few extra minutes to get going. As we were sitting there, we noticed this guy standing at the door. He kept leaning out of the monorail looking to see what was going on. I don't know if you've ever seen a tweaker before, but this guy had that druggie kind of vibe. He was very creepy. He would repeat the monorail spiel, but not in a funny kinda way. Anyways he got off at the TTC...

Yeah, that dude is definitely creepy there bro.

When we arrived at BLT, Wendy gave me a room key so I could get into BLT (remember it's like a fortress) and I hit Contempo Cafe for a CS meal. I ordered a hot roast beef sandwich open face, a cup of soup, a cookie and a drink.

Looks nifty.

I headed up to the room. Wendy ordered room service for the kids. The adults were soon on their way to the Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner. I was alone with the kids. I fed Ashlyn. She's generally a great and easy child. I had no issues this night. Room service came and delivered chicken nuggets. I thought there would be enough for them to share...UM....I took the lid off the plate and discovered 4 nuggets and 15 french fries. Jesus, where are you when I need you to multiply this food? Oh that's right...fish and loaves of bread..not nuggets and fries....my bad. We supplemented the meal with leftovers and maybe a cookie or 3...

LOL. Been there and done that.

The kids and I played this game where we all reacted to the "remote control", Dylan. If he said fast forward, we all started moving really fast. If he said slow motion we would all go realllly slow. He would say pause and we'd freeze. We did this for awhile and laughed alot. Erin and he would go back and forth...it was cool and a total uncle moment for me. Ah the joys of child rearing. It is the best of times, it is the worst of times. But so totally worth it.

Last year the kids and I rode it twice in a row. After the first time we felt totally fine and we decided to ride again. That second time did us all in. We were all a little woozy.

a clean bathroom is a single flush. A single flush means it only takes one flush to get rid of the contents.....a double flush....you get the drift.

Sweet of you watching the kids, its always nice to escape them for a while on vacation when you are the parents.

One time when leaving Epcot(we drove) we saw some guy laying on a bench. thought wow people can sleep anywhere, then we saw what looked like foam coming out of his mouth. Ran and got security.
Funny thing is...HE LOOKED JUST LIKE THAT GUY ON THE MONORAIL!!!!!!!
Don't get me started on the cast member in fantasyland uniform who was guzzling beer while driving on DW property.

Foam out of mouth Could be the same guy for sure.

That's why I don't like CMs wearing costumes to and from work. We used to come to work and change, but in order to save money they got rid of most of the costuming department. Seeing the beer guzzling CM probably wasn't the most magical experience..

I actually watched Body Wars and Horizons on You Tube yesterday There's a great one called Horizons in HD. It's a three parter and includes the full ride as well as some attraction Info. Body Wars one was by the same poster and was the full ride and queue.

What an awesome Uncle you are! I used to watch my nephew a lot when he was little and we had such great times together.
