Chapter 17. Fish are friends.
okay, so I've been a bit busy with life the last few days. I had mini-drama for the last few days trying to decide whether or not to got to Vegas. Long story short, my parents are going to Vegas for a internment camp reunion next Mon-Wed. They are taking a chartered bus with other folks, but I thought it might be nice to drive them...Well if you know my history with Vegas...it's many fuzzy memories at best. I was all set to book a room with a REALLY, REALLY, REALLY (yes REALLY) good weekday rate and a great friend called and basically slapped me back to reality over the phone. I can't go to Vegas--even if nothing really happened, it would be REALLY, REALLY, REALLY(yes REALLY) tempting to fall back to old ways....so not going!!!
Okay back to fun and fish In my last update, I was deemed the
"Fastpass Runner" and procured FPs for Test Track......

Is anyone else mesmerized by the Victoria Secrets "nakeds" commercials? Yeah, didn't think so...anyways......
While I was FP running, the gang was taking pictures in front of Nemo...
I met up with them just as they were getting of the Clammobiles and we took our time looking at all the displays. I LOVE aquariums. I am one of those annoying people who have to look at EVERY exhibit and reading every placard. Isn't it amazing? I hate seafood, but love looking AT soon-to-be seafood.
Erin LOVED all the quizzes and touch screen thingys. We had to tear her away.
Derek was experimenting with his camera..
From fish to Ashlyn:
On our way out, Erin and Dylan learned a bit about sharks...
From The Seas with Nemo, we were off to the Land. We were all hungry and the Seasons was calling our name! It was nearing the end of peak lunch time, so while it was still busy, we were able to grab tables fairly quickly.
I had my usual Peep Fare....Cashew Chicken with mixed veggies and noodles..mmmm. With the Dining Plan you know you get dessert...I had the Creme Brulee. For counter service, I have to say the Brulee was pretty dang good. I think my eyes were rolling in the back of my head and my toes were curling...
I snapped another picture off before we left:
After lunch it was off to Living with the Land which is one of my all-time favorite attractions. Yes, Derek calls it
The Ride with Plants. Enjoyable as always. I didn't snap off any pictures as I had already done so with Winkers the day before. Then we said adios to the Land...
As you know, when you travel with a larger group which include kids, whenever you leave an attraction or a meal or the restroom or the room or the bus or the car or the tram or the ferry or the plane, you have to get the stroller situated, the kids situated, the leftovers situated, the purse situated, the diaper bag situated, the shopping bags situated, the extra blankets situated, the sippy cups situated...
and we were off to Test Track!!!!!!
