Oh my gosh, he thanked you???? What a wonderful son you have! It's so wonderful when children are grateful for what their parents do for them. That must've been so great to hear.

All I can think of when I see Erin on that camel is "HARD". Did it hurt? Did the sharp parts poke her? It just looks painful

Yeah, Dylan is our most compliant child. He has a sensitive spirit to him. Tonight when I asked him to draw the kids' bath, he said, "you don't have to tell me what to do, I already know." There have even been times when his room was a complete mess and we would tell him to clean it all up and he would put everything away and his room would look as clean as when our housecleaner helps us out. I think he might even be a little bit OCD (thanks to Jordan).

Unfortunately, Erin is completely the opposite. We tell her to clean her room and we have to set-up a kitchen timer to set limits for her But then there's Dylan reminding her about her duties

I totally agree about Erin sitting on the camel, I was like, "you want to sit on there?" and then she proceeded to sit on the hump for another photo. I fear we have raised a camera ham

In all my growing up in California, I"ve never been to Legoland. I'll have to put it on my list. It looks really, really fun!! Thanks for posting all your pictures, Derek!

Derek and Wendy I can't say it enough, your children are gorgeous!

The pictures with all the kids were too cute, it was great that you ran into your frlends and they have kids that your children can play with. Those kids were adorable too.

Thanks. They're when they're good and they're when they're bad. We loved catching up with our friends Jeff & Roxanne because they're really good people and really laid back.

Derek thanks for posting the Legoland pictures. It looks like the kids had a blast. My oldest and youngest love legos. Wish we could go out there but its so far. But on a better note I have read that Legoland might be coming to Florida.

Yeah, our kids always have a blast at Legoland...it wasn't too crowded and there's plenty of things to do for all ages. It's almost like Toon Town (but not as crazy) because it's all themed around Legos (of course) and geared for kids (adult just get to tag along). We always seem to have fun there. I hope they open up a park in Florida so you can see first hand

Legoland can be fun for all ages, you only need to remember the kid in you . (But I'm sure there are some teenagers who say it's beneath them). We love Carlsbad in general and it's really getting developed. Legoland is in the process of building a water park on the property as well.

Wow, Dylan sounds like an . My little brother used to be that child when he was younger. And unfortunately, I was a lot more like Erin! He would be the one to remind us to clean mine and my sister's rooms.

Haha, Jordan's OCD rubbing off on Dylan might not be such a bad thing afterall!

I can't imagine that camel being comfy at all. Did it have a smooth area to sit on?

Hey Jordan! Thanks for the update! It's performance weekend for the Easter play so I've been scarce of late. Luckily the church has WiFi. Hope all is going well out your way! Haven't had time to read all the banter yet, but I've skimmed a bit. I hope to be back more ofter after next week. Well, off to finish setting up for dress rehearsal. Take care brother!

I actually don't have much going on this week. With the construction going on, our Easter is VERY simple this year. Almost like a normal week.

I am wiped out right now. Haven't really had a chance to be on all weekend.......

You really SHOULD come for a visit! We're very multi-cultural. You wouldn't feel out of place at all (unless you're not used to that?). It's a very coloured city.

For our Leafs....???? Haha.....sorry, but even WE don't have much faith in our own team.....

I also learned back in high school that the church my family goes to is the largest Chinese church community in North America! Which was obviously pretty cool to find out. I loved the church retreats I went on with my class in high school. Reading about the one you went on really made me miss mine

I would love to visit someday because the hockey hall of fame is there....

You guys just crack me up, I thought I would share this short story about a joke that was played on a fluctuate spouse

This is a story about a couple who had been happily married for years.

The only friction in their marriage was the husband's habit of farting loudly every morning when he awoke. The noise would wake his wife and the smell would make her eyes water and make her gasp for air.

Every morning she would plead with him to stop
ripping them off because it was making her sick. He told
her he couldn't stop it and that it was perfectly natural.
She told him to see a doctor; she was concerned that
one day he would blow his guts out.

The years went by and he continued to rip them out!

Then one Thanksgiving morning as she was preparing
the turkey for dinner and he was upstairs sound asleep,
she looked at the bowl where she had put the turkey innards and neck, gizzard, liver and all the spare parts and a malicious thought came to her.

She took the bowl and went upstairs where her husband was sound asleep and, gently pulling back the bed covers, she pulled back the elastic waistband of his underpants and emptied the
bowl of turkey guts into his shorts.

Some time later she heard her husband waken with his
usual trumpeting which was followed by a blood curdling scream and the sound of frantic footsteps as he ran into the bathroom.

The wife could hardly control herself as she rolled on the floor laughing, tears in her eyes! After years of torture she reckoned she had got him back pretty good.

About twenty minutes later, her husband came downstairs in his bloodstained underpants with a look of horror on his face.

She bit her lip as she asked him what was the matter. He said, "Honey, you were right. All these years you have warned me and I didn't listen to you."
"What do you mean?" asked his wife. "Well, you always told me that one day I would end up farting my guts out, and today it finally happened.

But by the grace of God, some Vaseline, and these
two fingers, I think I got most of them back in."

Sounds like something I would do...

The Bellagio is so fun to visit - there is a different floral display each season, and I love the water shows too. There are alot of great things to see in the shopping areas of most of the bigs, but it is hard to get to them- so far to walk and traffic is so slow its too hard to drive or too much $$ to taxi. We only made it to Cesar's this time from MGM before we ran out of steam and headed back.

I just found out I may be taking my parents to vegas for an internment camp reunion.....

Hey Jordan. Just checking in to say hi! I was so behind on your report that I had to use your links (hanging my head in shame. ).

We have been so busy the last 3 weeks, including 2 out of town volleyball tournaments (Todd is the coach) our anniversary, a wedding yesterday, and a high school Junior Prom (no, we did not go to the prom. I work at the school & am responsible for all of the money stuff). That all ended yesterday and now we are leaving for another trip down to your area (DL) in a week. Have I done anything to get ready? NO! But here I am on the Dis, trying to catch up on your TR.

I love the pictures of BLT. Derek's picture was so pretty! I have a feeling that their Dylan and my Dylan would become very fast friends!!

Thanks so much for stopping in when you get a chance!

Home now. I was able to somewhat justify a business expense for 24 hrs of internet. Had to clean out my work inbox.

Anywhoo, conference was good, not great just good. Education was good the social activities were a bit unorganized but between myself and a good friend who went with me we made it a good time.
My annual conference in Oct is tons more fun.... and educational yeah that's it

Just to reitererate how addicting this report is, I made sure I checked in here and thankfully I was not too behind. I never made it any other reports.

Vegas - i agree, not my kind of town. I took the monorail and walked back. I was power walking down the strip but now i feel like I "did" it and don't care if i go back.

Jordan - take it easy- I know Holy week is busy for you.

Conferences always seem to be a mixed bag.

Wow, Ray Bans. That's fancy stuff. My best friend has two of their prescription sunglasses and LOVES them to death. Wears them every chance she gets.

I've never been to the Hockey Hall of fame, but the pictures are nice. If you ever come visit Toronto, I would be more than happy to give you a tour!

Last time...I was waiting for the rest of the gang to arrive..

I got the call that they were on the monorail and on their way over. I made my way back to the entrance. Right when I got the entrance, they had just made their way through the turnstiles. It was the first time I had seen Kim since 08 and the first time I had met Allan. It was also their first park day. So of course, pictures were required to document it!

Take note of Erin making rabbit ears over Dylan. Where does she learn such things...

our first attraction was Spaceship Earth. You would think since it was noon that SSE's line wouldn't be bad. It was about 15 minutes. Not bad, but I've rarely waited in line-EVER-for this attraction. We kinda got split up weird. I think Allan ended up with Erin or Dylan and I ended up with Kim. It was nice to catch up with her a bit before the attraction got going. We ended up talking alot of the ride as well. Having ridden this before, we were ready for our picture:

After the attraction, Derek had to go to Guest Relations(never did figure out why). As we were waiting, I got a few more pix with the kids and Allan and Kim:

We also saw a tour group. Apparently NOT Brazilian, but Argentinian. There would be a lot of them throughout the week. However, they were much better behaved than the Brazilian groups. It seemed like they had more supervision.

After Derek had finished inside, they decided to hit Nemo. We decided that I would be the "FastPass Runner". I went to get FPs for TestTrack.

I then went to meet up with them at Nemo.

Actually, brother, it was Wendy that had to go to guest relations to redeem her Citibank Disney Dollars so we could have some spending cash at the park. As we were on a strict budget, every Disney Dollar counted.
