I try to escape the AZ heat every summer and head to Balboa. I'll keep you posted on the timing for this summer. I think we will have Give a Day tickets to use up. Do you ever "slum" it down at D-land?

I haven't been to D-land/DCA in about a year maybe 2. It gets too busy on the weekends with all the locals. I'll probably wait til the DCA renovation is done in a few years.

I can always meet up with you at DTD.

That would be fun. Can you believe I lived in CA for my first 30 years and I've never been to CA Adventure? I think it opened when we didn't have kids yet and thought it was meant for kids. By the time we had kids we didn't have the time, energy, money, always some excuse. Maybe we'll have to try that one this year.

I'm sure we can figure out somewhere to meet. I'll keep you posted as the plans develop.

Chapter 1. I can't possibly live up to the hype.

You must understand. I start this Trip Report with a bit of trepidation. I am a bit overwhelmed by the response at the start of this TR…..My intent is always to just talk about my trip to WDW, but do it in a way that is fun, relatable and true to who I am. My fear is that I will disappoint in some way….So I just must start by saying….


I am human just like you. I sleep just like you:

Now I get to be the one who gets to say she's related to you. Or maybe I'll be saying, "Jordan who? I have never seen that guy before in my life... "

Hee hee hee. You can just be your regular self. I'm sure many others will "bring the funny" to make this trip report one for the history books.

Too bad you don't have that pix of you, me and Andy from the first time we had a cool conversation at Thanksgiving at Anaheim...why did we have it there?

I actually laid the dessert egg roll on top of the trash and I actually ate it.....thank god there's was no stinky trash in there. I have a low gag threshold.
