top of the world bar? is that the one on bay lake tower?

i have the Contemporary tower figured out and mastered, this might be a mission i would gladly accept.

top of the world bar is indeed at BLT.

it's your mission....

i loved horizons, my dads company used to be affliated with them, and we could go into the VIP room at that attraction for free, it was cool...they had a back entrance we could go and get drinks, then there was a camera on top of hte building, that you could control and look around the parks and zoom in on people.

then when it was all done and ready to ride, you were allowed down a back entrance, and onto the ride in a seperate area before the people in line...very cool

ouch 2 credits for that, iwould have complained for sure.

that would've been cool to get to do some VIP stuff.

chicken nuggets = ripoff!

Wow this thread is intimidating lol I can't keep up! Great update, you sound like such a fun uncle :goodvibes I bet Wendy spent a small fortune on those ripoff chicken nuggets! :sad2:

you know if i make it you will be the first one that i text and let know.

it was very cool, they had the best tangerine flavored hard candies in there as well...we have never found them anywhere else, they would give you tons of them.

do you remember the smell of the garden scene on that ride where it was just flooded with orange/tangerine smell.

that was exaclty what those things tasted like.

Wendy loves this ride. In 08? she spent a few hours on her own and rode M: S 6? 7? times IN A ROW!!!!!! One order of scrambled brains coming right up!:scared1: That's what i call intestinal fortitude!

Seriously? The orange or green? Wait, I can't ever remember which is which so I'll rephrase: the "more intense" or the "less intense"?

Me in 08 in front of said restroom.

I love this pic - but if I didn't know the background on your rating system, I'd say it looks like you are say you 'went a #4' - whatever that might be!:lmao:

I don't know if you've ever seen a tweaker before, but this guy had that druggie kind of vibe. He was very creepy. He would repeat the monorail spiel, but not in a funny kinda way. Anyways he got off at the TTC...

Okay, I'm sheltered - what's a tweaker, exactly? I mean, does it just mean someone who looks stoned, or is it more specific?

I ordered a hot roast beef sandwich open face, a cup of soup, a cookie and a drink.

Wow, that actually looks really good! Of course, I did just eat a bowl of oatmeal for lunch, so maybe I'm just hungry. But sometimes the resort counterservice meals are surprisingly tasty.

TWO table service credits???? Did you guys at least complain about it? Maybe they messed it up? It just doesn't seem fair!

Haha, I can see it now, 64 yr old Jordy and 21 yr old Dylan just painting the town red.:rotfl:

Finals get in the way of the DIS ugh I was so far behind! Don't my professors realize what's really important in life ;)

I love the picture of Dylan dressed up as Mickey Mouse he looks adorable!

Wendy I am sorry about the sight at the courthouse! I know how uncomfortable some of those legging sightings can be :scared1::sad2:

Chapter 19

I believe I joined in on that sigh of relief ;)

Wow I am surprised Wendy talked Kim into the orange side!

You're dinner looks good!

I might have to steal that remote control game from you for my summer camp kids this summer think it would work on 3rd and 4th graders?

About sleeping spots

I totally agree when it comes to american adventures I will say to my mom do you want to go see? she loves that ride and then I will say good because I could really use a nap

I also love country bear jamboree I usually lie down between my mom and dad and spend the entire time sleeping those benches are comfortable!

My kids are swimmers. I'll have to post this awesome picture of my son. It's a collage of pics of him swimming over the last four years, he just got it at the end of the year swim banquet. Some of the pics are kinda funny since your catching them mid breath while swimming for the pic. My daughter who is 10 stands 5'5 and has size 9-9.5 womens sized feet. Think she might be in the right sport? The coaches are extremely pleased to see this new growth spurt to say the least. Me, I'm just prayin to God her feet stop growing, I hate to think of where I would have to shop to find her shoes if she doesn't. :rolleyes1 I'll let you all guess where that would be.

COOL about your kids. A great sport to get into. I am 5'2" and have anywhere from a 8.5 to a 9.5 size feet. Yeah I don't fall down easily. My feet are wide too. Yes I can find regular shoes. I hope your daughters feet do stop growing soon. You don't want to go there to find shoes :rolleyes1

Good gracious- let's hope his swim diapers don't turn into a disaster! (from Glennbo's thread.)

Adult swim diaper disaster:scared1::scared1::scared1:

Oh no too many stories about swim diapers. :scared1::scared1::scared1:
It was funny when I had a staff member come to me with the the gel stuff in his gloved hands asking " What's this?" He was a good sport, he did not drop it when I told him it was the innards of a diaper.

I keep wondering how we woke up. We could've been sitting there for a few shows...

That's what keeps me from getting a really good sleep going.

Seriously? The orange or green? Wait, I can't ever remember which is which so I'll rephrase: the "more intense" or the "less intense"?
You would think green would be more intense but orange is the more intense. I remember green for newbie so less intense. Orange for danger more intense. :thumbsup2 :teacher: But when I get in line I just usually say "spin me"

It seems like the leggings talk has died down at least for now.

I am surprised that kim went on it. she won't do ToT....

My dinner at least was good...only needed more gravy. should've asked.

The seats are really comfortable in American Adventure. CBR not so much. I've tried sleeping in there before not have not been very successful. I'll have to try laying down next time....:thumbsup2

I don't think my liver will make it

4 is bad. 5 is the worst. 1 is good. It goes by flushes. a single flush in real life is good, but a quintuple flush would be well.....gross.....

I usually enjoy CS meals at WDW--mostly.

It's hard to deep sleep on an attraction, but if someone you're traveling with doesn't fall asleep then you can occasionally be OUT. I mean out.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: You remembered!!!
This week ( Spring Break around here ) we have had the other end more this week.
vomit2-1.gif

The guards earned their money this week for sure. I had one use the term crop vomit. We had to close the womens locker room for a time for "cleaning". That's right folks - come swim -go eat - swim some more jump and play - we get our food back. :sad2:

My husband is the one who would fall asleep. I always seem to be the designated stay awaker, someone has to wake everyone else at the end of the ride.:confused3

When we take car trips everyone else in the car will sleep while I drive. Fine with me until I need directions.

So today on my way to court, here's what I see in front of me

Check out the knee high socks... and to boot, this woman is like in her 50's or 60's for sure! Craaaaaaazy. :sad2:

Howdy Peeps! San Antonio is a blast as always. (Durn Mexican food does it everytime.) I am currently engaged in a rousing round of Where's Wal-Mart? The games began when I asked the kid at the front desk of the motel where the nearest Wal-Mart was. I know the term kid is a bit subjective, but I use it advisedly. This dude looked like he was about 5 years shy of needing his first shave. I immediately knew by the look in his eyes that I was in trouble. It was, if you will allow me the cliche, the "deer in the headlights" look so often referenced in the modern nomenclature. He shifted his weight, gave a few glances in every direction but mine, and then tapped on the desk. This is the same reaction I get daily from reps. One will invariably come to my cube and say something like "I've been troubleshooting this Blackberry for an hour and it just won't connect.". To which my first reply is "Did you verify the serial number? You know, that FIRST step you are supposed to do 30 seconds into the call there Ace?". Only I say it in a manner that is positive and shows support. Because I'm a professional. And HR said I have to. In a manner that was positive and showed support. It is then that you see in their eyes that the answer to your question is no. But you also see that they don't want you to know the answer is no. So their mind is spinning to try to find an answer that deflects the question without making an actual yes/no commitment. Finally after a pause that was awkward for all parties involved Front Desk Mini Man RAISED HIS HAND and went Ooo-Ooo-Ooo! Oh no he dint. Oh yes he did. I raised an eybrow to let him know it was important that he conclude the thought and he apparently got the hint. "Go up this road five miles and there is one on the left." I verified the road in question by both name and gesture and noted that he looked quite pleased with himself.

Having secured what little recon I could, I set off on my quest. Turns out he was surprisingly close to being accurate. He was only short by about seven miles. Feeling mighty relieved to have actually located a Wally World, I headed inside to aquire my bounty. Which was in fact NOT Bounty the paper towel, but was indeed socks. Turns out there was a footwear miscalculation and Tahli's socks did not match her intended outfit. I saw no issue with this personally. My philosophy on socks is, as long there are two, you're good. I've been known to wear dress socks with tennis shoes, white socks with my suit, and even the occasional one white/one dress combo. I figure nobody is going to pull up my britches leg for an ankle inspection. And if they do, who am I to deny them a show. I was quickly informed by First Lady Biscuit that this situation was unacceptable. Tahli is supposed to perform in the district talent contest at 8AM and CANNOT do so with improper accessories. This situation demanded action. On the bright side I discovered a donut shop, a BBQ stand and a Best Buy so at least I'll be entertained tomorrow during the break between morning and evening activities. I was thankfully successful in both locating the proper size and color of socks and in actually returning to the same hotel I left. (Which I once did NOT do and still feel the need to apologize to the couple in Hampton Inn room 315.)

Well that's all for now from the warped land of Biscuit. Time to crash so I can miuster the energy to get through tomorrows glorious activities! Kidsfest ends tomorrow night and its back to the homestead.

Night Peeps!

Edited to say: please excuse any typos. I typed this on phone. Where? It's not relative to the narrative. Let's leave it at that.

Hope the competition goes well Biscuit! Where are you in SA? My DS lives out near Sea World of Patranko.
