It sounds like we're basically on the same page, I don't disagree with any of your points. I would take an quick moment to clarify my position, which is not to discourage higher prices for points (I couldn't care less what anyone asks for their own points and wouldn't have a problem with eBay auctions if they weren't grabbing hard-to-book rooms/times), but to discourage the browbeating and second-guessing of those who are perfectly comfortable renting at $10.

I've never argued those points other than while one may not like seeing high demand weeks for rental, that is the way the program is set up.
