Can someone tell me what the western alternative cruise is??
Also are their any double dips in 08??
Webmaster Regina's first post tells what that itinerary is - and it's the double-dip!
Can someone tell me what the western alternative cruise is??

I believe I read that the 5 night Bahemian is doing castaway cay, nassau, and castaway. The Alternate Western is the Castaway Cay double dip to Costa Maya. I can't remember where I read this...
Well, there you go......no summer 7-day Caribbean cruises for either the Magic or Wonder in 2008.![]()
I'm with you, I so wanted an eastern carribean in summer of 08' and would have booked it as soon as it was out. Very dissappointing. Riviera cruises don't thrill me in the first place but approximately 460.00 pp airfare for our family of five just to get there make it a definite no go.![]()

There are only 3 Eastern Carrib. for the remainder of 2008 once the Magic comes back from California. We really wanted an Eastern next time and unfortunately those three dates don't look like they will work for us. Maybe we will start checking out other lines as well or just wait until 2009....

The 5 night Magic on 9/1 is Port Canaveral, Castaway Cay, Nassau, Castaway Cay and Port Canaveral.
I am new to the DCL- so forgive the possible stupid question..![]()
If the above is a 5 night -- how does that work, since the last day at PC you are getting off the boat - so that's not a "night".. so i am only counting 4 nights:
PC
CC
Nassau
CC
Then last day at PC you disembark correct?? What am i missing ?![]()
So if the summer is bookable on January 31 when will the Fall available for reservations?
also we have a cruise booked for this October. If we wait until the cruise to book to get the discount will it be the same price as booking when the dates first come out? or better?
I remember reading that it was pretty chilly in June on the '05 Mex. Riv. cruise. Can anyone else add to that? I know we've been in LA in late May early June and only brought 1 pair of pants, (Hey it's sunny California!!) and really froze at night. We're shooting for Aug., so it should be pretty awesome by then.
The DCL website now offers more information with the dates and estimated price for the 7-Night Mexican Riviera cruises and 15-Night Panama Canal cruises. Look to the left on the Home Page and click where it reads "Go West! Mexican Riviera Cruises. Read More" Bon Voyage!
