Parla -- have you done a trip report already? If so, please provide the link...I guess I missed it and I thought I was caught up on all the posts -- sorry!

Umm... you asked this before I even left for my trip. We were just discussing what I should name my cast of characters.

I am 19, and currently single! I am hoping to move to New York City to become a journalist.

Okay. That sounds like that would be very exciting.

Are you going to school right now for journalism?

An old Italian man lived alone in the country. He
wanted to dig his tomato garden, but it was very hard
work as the ground was hard. His only son, Vinnie,
who used to help him, was in prison. The old man
wrote a letter to his son and described his
predicament:


Dear Vinnie,

I am feeling pretty badly because it looks like I
won't be able to plant my tomato garden this year.
I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden
plot. I know if you were here my troubles would be
over. I know you would be happy to dig the plot for
me.

Love, Dad


A few days later he received a letter from his son:


Dear Dad,

Don't dig up that garden. That's where I buried the
bodies.

Love, Vinnie


At 4 a.m. the next morning, FBI agents and local
police arrived and dug up the entire area without
finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and
left. That same day the old man received another
letter from his son:


Dear Dad,

Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now. That's the best
I could do under the circumstances.

Love you, Vinnie

I am a night owl..so no problem there.

I like to sleep in...that doesn't work too well for a yardsale...

I'm still working on the names. I may go with Star Wars names since we had such a good time with the Star Wars stuff. It would just be Luke, Leia and Han. Of course to really be the dad Han should probably be Vader or Anakin or something.

DS spent $200, most of it at the Lego Store. It ticked DH off but I know we discussed him spending that much since I hadn't let him buy anything with his allowance in months. Even DD bought a $60 Princess Castle at the Lego Store. I also made them buy their own autograph books and stuff. I worked my butt off for them to earn the yard sale money there was no way I was picking up the check on anything but food and we bought each of them a t-shirt since I really didn't have room to add an extra outfit for everyone when we found out we were staying an extra night.

The sad thing is I still haven't added up all the totals. We deposited the kid's money from the first night and I just need to add everything up (including the Disney receipts) to know how much they owe us! I know DS had at least $100 from the yard sale. I finally just cashed a $20 check last night that a lady wrote for some of his Rescue Heroes toys. She bought $40 worth but only had $20 cash with her. I made sure to take the check to her bank so we wouldn't end up with any fees in case it bounced.
