True that, though I'm sure they aren't going to have both of them poisoning themselves. It wouldn't look right. It looks like it will be a more comical approach to the classic tragedy...

American Idol!

I cannot wait for tomorrow... me and my two best friends getta put the middle school/high school logo tattoo on the middle schoolers for the staff basketball game at my old middle school! Which... my old middle school is playing the new middle school that opened this year, which is the new middle school for my high school... confusing. But we're having to root for the new middle school, since that's our HS's MS. Even though we never went there... xD

In Cinderella, the two step-sisters mutilate their feet in order to try to get the slippers on.

Rapunzel- The prince knocks her up. Then has his eyes gouged out by thorns. Incidentally, Rapunzel's healing tears from Tangled? Directly from the original fairy tale. They give the prince his sight back.

Snow White- The evil queen is forced to dance in white-hot iron shoes until she dies.

The Little Mermaid- The prince marries the sea witch and the Little Mermaid dies. She becomes sea foam.

The Lion King- Based on Hamlet and just about everyone dies.

Sleeping Beauty- the prince actually rapes Beauty and gets her pregnant. One of her twin babies sucks the splinter out of her finger. Some versions have Beauty actually eating her babies out of rage.

Now that I take it from a perspective of taking a mature tragedy and turning it into the "next big animated comedy". It just doesn't make sense and doesn't sound like a good idea. But it could surprise us possibly? *shrugs*

I'm not entirely sure this is a Disney movie. Wikipedia says its a Disney film, but IMDB says Disney had only apart in the soundtrack as well as advertising. It also isn't mentioned on IMDB as an upcoming Disney production. I'm genuinely confused
