I love Dick Clark, he's such a sweet old man. And there's NO better New Years Eve celebration better than this one.

I'm glad I'm in the same time zone as New York, I'd be pretty bummed if the ball fell before/after it was midnight where I lived.

my cousin has seen the ball drop in nyc, she was in nebraska for a gap year and her friends took her to new york city for a trip and they went for new years.

what is the ball and how does it drop anyway LOL.

around 1:30 is when they start counting off.

the ball is on the pole and it starts falling as they count down to 2010.
&then it reaches the end at midnight
