I think I like the movie version of how Harry is found in the Hogwarts Express covered with his invisibility cloak after Malfoy Petrificus Totalus'ed him after Harry was eavesdropping on Malfoy as he suspected Malfoy of being a Death Eater after seeing him in Burkish & Banges in Knockturn Alley talking to the shop keeper about fixing something (which isn't revealed at the moment, but turns out to be the vanishing cabinet that Harry hid in during the Second Book and this was because its partner is in Hogwarts, and Malfoy leads in a bunch of Death Eaters who wreck havoc, and then Malfoy attempts to kill Dumbledore after him and Harry come back from that weird cave where they had to get the horcrux hidden within, that could only be taken when all the liquid is drunk for some reason, and Dumbledore gets all distressed, but has to keep drinking it, then they get the Horcrux, which was a locket, and Dumbledore needs water, so Harry tries to fill the goblet with water, but it keeps disappearing, so he instead fills the goblet up with water from the lake which is also in the cave they were in, which was an odd thing to do because Harry could just fill Dumbledore's mouth with water from his wand directly instead of using the goblet, but I digress, Harry fills up the goblet and then all these Inferi, which are like zombies controlled by Voldemort (you should be used to his name by now!), start to attack Harry, and then I don't remember how they get out, but I think it had something to do with apparation, and then Draco doesn't have the guts to kill Dumbledore, so Snape does it instead (No need for a spoiler alert. You should know this by now!), and we all think he's evil, but we find out in the last book that Snape is actually good, and was a very mixed up jumble of traitor somehow, and now i've forgotten why I was writing all this in the first place, oh yeah, the vanising cabinet) and also because he saw Draco not let Madame Perkins do his school robes and pull up his left sleeve, which is where the Dark Mark is normally found, when they were shopping in Diagon Alley for school supplies, slightly better than the book version of all those events, mainly because Luna Lovegood helps Harry in the movie. I like Tonks, but Luna is better.

What a nice lengthy explanation.

What word fits this description: When someone is given the chance to choose something first before others, and everyone else gets whatever is leftover.

I can't remember the word, and I want to use it in an email i'm sending to one of my lecturers about the Isle of Wight trip. I want a single room, but they are mainly for mature students (the older ones) or those with a disability that requires their own room. There are a limited amount, and everyone I know has already paired up (or got a room of three. My friends were signalling me to get that room, but I was at the front and they were at the back...)

Wait, is it "priority"? *Checks* Thesaurus says it means 'first concern'. Yes!

I wonder what I have for dinner tonight. Possibly what I had last night.

Ouch! I hope I don't ever need to have mine taken out...

I've been pronouncing Heston Blumenthal's name wrong? But I was pronouncing it right until I heard it pronounced the way I say it now on other TV shows. Now i'm watching Heston's Feasts, and he pronounced it the way I pronounced it in the first place D-: Make your mind up!

I mean, they must have pudding...they talk about pudding in Harry Potter!
pudding = dessert meg!
99 - When you visit England, go up to the ice cream van and ask for a 99. You will get a cone filled with soft ice cream and a Cadbury's flake - a long crumbly stick of chocolate. Mmmm!
99's are made of love and starshine.
Clingfilm - Unless you saw the Full Monty, clingfilm is used to wrap food to keep it fresh. Plastic wrap in America. Wrapping it around your stomach is actually NOT normal in the UK!!!
no it really isn't normal xD you wrap clingfilm around your stomachs? freaks xD
Fairy cake - This not a cake for effeminate men, it is a cupcake.
FAIRY CAKES <333333
Twiglets - These are an important part of the British culinary culture. They look and feel like little sticky twigs, though they are really a snack with a strange marmite tang - hence the stickiness. Try them when you visit.
TWIGLETS MAKE ME WANNA HURRRRRRL.
Brolly - Short for umbrella. An essential item in England!
I love my brolly, I got it in Boston! it's an automatic one that's brown and has pink brollies on it!
Pinny - Mrs Tiggywinkle - the well beloved hedgehog from my childhood, always wore a pinny. Actually childish slang for pinafore. You might call it an apron, to protect the clothes from washing and cooking. It originates from "pin - afore". In other words you would "pin" it "afore" (in front of) your dress.
it's never an apron or pinafore in my house, it's always pinny. except for when I was in primary school when I had to wear a pinafore, that was the only time our family ever called it a pinafore.
Wellies - Wellington Boots, named after the Duke of Wellington. Called galoshes in America.
wellies! mine are black and they have pink hearts on them xD but I want navy Hunter wellies with red socks. GEDDIT?! I want red sox for my wellies! :D
Zebra crossing - Similar to the pelican but with flashing orange beacons on either side. If a pedestrian steps onto a either crossing, you should stop. Unless you are in London in which case your job is to kill them.
If you don't stop for a pedestrian on a zebra, you can fail your drivers test.

I'll go find a picture of my friends Hunter wellies, although hers are a bit crap because the socks and wellies are the same colour xD

blaaagaahhhh Spanish homework.
it's 2 a4 pages of translating numbers? duuuuuuude.

thank god it's Friday tomorrow, I might have punched someone if it wasn't LOL

ooer! I just remembered! HALF DAY ON WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY! and then a wholeeeee week of blisssssssssssss! I'm looking forward to the whole school picture on Friday and the sixth formers panto, but I'm not looking forward to the 2 hour assembly! wheeeeyyyy!

I WANT KEY LIME PIE.

I need some wellies for next week. Can't remember if I have any or not... I also need a compass (the lecturer's trying to get us to buy a £40 one. Why?!? Aren't all compasses the same?) and waterproof trousers for some reason.

Hm. Whenever I try a gif it just shows up as a still and doesn't move at all.

Haha, I always like taking pictures of my food. :cutie: It's fun to show interesting or delicious food you tried on your trip when you're showing people vacation photos. But then again, I take pictures of EVERYTHING...

That's strange:confused:

As long as it isn't half-eaten! xD

I've been trying to download this for over 3 hours and it's at 95%

Something called ArcGIS for one of my courses. We're given the chance to do it at home, so that means I can miss an hour every week if I do it at home. It's just taken ages to load. After this, I still need to download more!
