Ten pence, or ten pennies. There are 100 pennies in a pound like there are 100 cents in a dollar. The coins we have are:

2p
5p
10p
20p
50p
£1

Have you ever noticed that US coins don't say the amount of cents they equal to?

we also have 20p's, 5p's, 1p's, 2p's, 50p's, a one pound coin, a two pound coin, a five pound note, a ten pound note, a twenty pond note and a fifty pound note (as far as I know they are quite rare) idk I we have a one hundred pound note...

just like 100 pennies = 1 pence?
