Because I can't help myself I came up with Plan B for you for the leaving early idea. Plan B has you leaving late morning/noonish on Saturday and getting a cheap-o hotel room for the night in the Orlando area with dinner at the buger joint of your choice. (Nice of me to let you have some say in your vacation huh?) Then you can make it to DHS for rope drop for Star Wars stuff. Then you add a night to your POFQ ressie at the end so you can use that last park day ticket to it's fullest.

I think I'm crazed...not only did I come up with a plan for you, I had a nightmare last night about mine!

I just had to show Aunt Pat the picture of the clothes in zip lock bag to "prove" that other people do that too!

Okay, I love your countdown calender!! My to do list is scribbled on notebook paper! (things are getting crossed off though.) You are so organized! I do have special toothpaste and toothbrushes just for the trip, though so I don't have to wait for the last minute! I have a train case ready at all times!

Jake is planning to buy Lego Indiana Jones down at Disney!!

Oh, I should totally invest in special trip toothpaste and toothbrushes!!!

Does Jake have any specific Legos he is looking for? We hope to make it to the Lego store while we are there.

Jackie--my "packing room" looks a LOT like yours!!! We must be on our way to Disney!!!!!!!! YEAH!

Wow very organized! I won't get a lazy day here, 'cause I'm going to be packing until Saturday morning it seems.

Today is our 4-Day Mark, but not really, because really, as of right now, it is our 3-Day Mark!!!

But, in true PTR fashion, I have to backtrack and give you the story.

Soon after I wrote this response to Heidi, Anti-Disney Man came to me.

That's also an excellent idea!!! I am really hoping that we still leave a day early, but Charles is proving to be stubborn about it now -- I should have booked it when he was all, "That's fine." Now, he doesn't seem thrilled by the idea.

Charles: So, are we leaving a day early?
Me: What? I didn't think you wanted to.
Charles: But it would get us there a day early.
Me: Are you saying you want to go on Saturday?
Charles: What would we do if we went down a day early?
Me: Check in, unpack, relax, and be ready to go to DHS first thing Sunday morning.
Charles: We could go have a nice dinner somewhere.
Me: We could. What did you have in mind?
Charles: I don't know. Why don't you go find somewhere for us to eat.



I learned my lesson from earlier this week, so I went to look at menus.

I really wanted Jiko's, but somehow dropping $200 for a meal seems excessive to me. I just couldn't wrap my head around it.

So, then I looked at Cape May Cafe -- again, couldn't quite wrap my head around it.

I would love Beaches and Cream, but I hate not being able to make an ADR, and I hate waiting.

So, I went for Charles's weakest point when it comes to Disney.

Me: We could eat at Boma.
Charles: Mmmmm, Boma.
Me: Yep.
Charles: 2 Boma dinners???
Me: I'll call.

It's been awhile since I called Disney Dining, so I was more than happy to dial their number. There was a 4:40 dinner on Saturday which I grabbed.

Me: I got a 4:40 for dinner. Now, you have to make the final decision. Do you want to go down a day early?
Charles: That's fine.
Me: No, you have to say, "Yes, let's do it," or "No, let's not."
Charles: That's fine.
Me: No, you have to say, "Let's do it," or "No, let's not."
Charles: Okay, let's do it.

Without waiting for any mind-changing on his part or mine, I jumped on the phone again and booked the standard view room at POFQ. I then called the front desk at POFQ so that they could make a note on our ressie that we do not want to have to change rooms.

Chi-ching! Score!

So, that's how we went from 4 days to 3 days until WDW!

Now, I HAVE to clean the house for book club tonight.

Since, we did plan on going to DHS on Sunday, I wanted to not feel rushed once we got there. The extra day will let us get all organized and ready to see Stormtroopers first thing Sunday.
