The proverbial snowball

Our original 3 day summer trip w/inlaws included went to 5 days sometime around January with the last minute travel hoppers-- to now 6 days.

We were thinking we'd upgrade our GAD passes to 3 days originally then with the LMT tickets being so cheap (we got them when they were 158 for 5 day hoppers) decided to use them for fast passes. Well, haven't been able to decide what to do with dh on Fathers Day since we'll be in Anaheim that day, but our plan didn't include Disneyland as we will have drove all night Sat night and just thought we'd take her easy that first day. So I decided to give husband free reign that day as his present. If you know me this is extremely generous of me.

So I casually mentioned last night how sunday would actually be a better day to do the parks instead of Mon or Tues because of the passholder blockouts and he decides today to just add Sunday using our GAD vouchers. I will be giving up my super duper fast passes--- but if it's what he wants that's fine lol. I did for the record tell him he's crazy. If I end up not sleeping at all on the drive I might just have them go by themselves and save one fast pass for the busy days. Then I could drive them as our first hotel night is the Marriot Anaheim suites-- not within walking distance. Sheesh. Just when you thought all was planned...

Yep, that sounds like a snowball alright! My first snowball went from 2 days staying with my sister an hour away to 3 days at a nearby hotel, upgrading to APs, AND a new camera.

You could always go that first day and nap inside the shows.

You know... It's not THAT big of a difference between 6 days and an annual pass, plus you would get discounts - and OR isn't that far away. Hehe Just helping you with your snowball.

I think you are on the right track with going on Sunday--I read some horrendous sounding reports from people about how busy Monday and Tuesday were this week due to all APs being unblocked.
