Kathleen: "But you and I are pretty too," she said, though it sounded like she was trying to convince herself as much as Rose.

Rose: "Yeah." She sat quietly, then sighed and started on a letter to her stepmom, who would probably want to hear from her. She loved her well enough, yet something seemed missing. Had her mother really not loved them? Had she done something wrong, not been good enough for her? Cornelius didn't speak of her, so the answers were unknown.

OOC: the whole story put through her head about her mom really tore her self-esteem up

Rose: "Yeah." She sat quietly, then sighed and started on a letter to her stepmom, who would probably want to hear from her. She loved her well enough, yet something seemed missing. Had her mother really not loved them? Had she done something wrong, not been good enough for her? Cornelius didn't speak of her, so the questions were unknown.

Kathleen: Her eyes wandered out the window. Yes, Adriana was beautiful. She could wrap most boys around her finger. How could she compare?

Rose: She sent her owl and laid down. She had let her guard off for a moment; she couldn't do that anymore. There was no way she could face the rejection from her peers if it came again. Eventually, she rolled over and fell asleep.


Hermione: She came in and saw Kathleen looking out the window. "Hi, I hope I haven't woken anyone." She looked around the room, shaking her head slightly again with an amused smile as she saw Ana's empty bed.

Mikhailya: "I'm going to sleep now. Goodnight." She went to bed.

Hamilton: He stayed asleep.

Brendan and Zara: They said goodnight and went to their dorms and to sleep.

Adriana, Fred and George: They fell asleep in a pile on Fred's bed.

Lark: She smiled as she felt Artemis jump up on her back, curl up, and fall asleep. "Hey, kitty," she murmured. Then she tried to focus on getting back to sleep, trying to focus on how she had classes tomorrow and had to be energized.

OOC: I was shocked when I originally read it. I had to do several double-takes, but I was never actually sad.
