Lark: "It's okay. You'll see," she comforted.
Jack: He nodded. "O-okay."
Lark: "It's okay. You'll see," she comforted.
Rose: "Exactly. It's idiotic and terrifying to half the school." She felt slightly bad for saying it, even though it didn't at all insult Ana, so she looked away.
Oliver: "Wanna see 'em?"
Carson: "I'm sorry, I just didn't think someone so sweet and polite would be a fellow Slytherin. Sadly, the stereotypes are true, most of us are horrible. You just have to find the rare good ones." He smiled his goofy, crooked smile, something people didn't see often. "Like me."
Adriana: She nodded. "That's right, but we'll be okay." Changing topics, she said, "Are you excited for Hogsmeade and the quidditch season starting up soon?"
OOC: Dude, they're other first years, they can't be that scary.
Hamilton: "Sure."
Cassiopeia: She blushed ever so slightly. "Well, I was raised to be sweet an polite, so I see no reason to change that. The only reason that stereotype is true is that we have most of the purists in Slytherin. I'm sure all houses have not-so-nice or not-so-good people in them, but it's dwarfed because of the stupid purists - though don't tell anyone I said that." She stopped suddenly. "Oh dear, I've forgotten my manners. What your name? I'm Cassiopeia, a pleasure to meet you."
Rose: "Maybe Gryffindor will finally get some good luck."
Adriana: "I hope so. Oliver Wood will be quite anxious, it's his last year to try to take the team to victory."
Adriana: She nodded. "That's right, but we'll be okay." Changing topics, she said, "Are you excited for Hogsmeade and the quidditch season starting up soon?" Rose: "Seems like Harry has us in a good position if we can stay out of mayhem this term."
Carson: "Carson. The pleasure is all mine."
Hector: "Right this way."
Cassiopeia: She grinned. "So you're a Slytherin like me?"
Carson: "Yes, ma'am."
Hector: He led the boys to the common room and pulled a tiny flying Hamilton and a tiny flying Oliver out of a bag.
Oliver: He smirked.
Cassiopeia: "Wow. Brilliant." Hamilton: He laughed. "You actually did it, I thought you were pulling my leg."
Carson: "Brilliant?"
Hector: "Have I ever done something like that to you, Hammy?"
Cassiopeia: "That is what I said," she teased/joked lightly. "So what's the school like anyway?" Hamilton: "Don't call me that. But no."
Hector: He smirked.
Carson: "It's alright. I mean, you're gonna definitely get some of that stupid business about being a Slytherin, but I guess you get used to it."
Cassiopeia: "Do you know a lot of the people in our year?"
Carson: "A few. But I don't exactly like talking to people."
Cassiopeia: "Why not?"
Carson: "Well, I-uh-I'm just really shy." He blushed and lowered his head.
Cassiopeia: "Oh, okay, you hadn't seemed like it earlier. My mum told me I had a cousin here, but I've never seen her or met her and I don't know her name. I only know she's about my age and also orphaned."
Carson: "I was afraid you were hurt. Plus, the other slytherins don't like me and the other houses don't like slytherins. You're an orphan?"
