Hermione: "If being good at Divination means I have to pretend to see death omens in a lump of tea leaves, I'm not sure I'll be studying it much longer! That lesson was absolutely rubbish compared to my arithmancy class!"

McGonagall: "Good morning, students." She began the class by telling them about Animagi, transforming herself into a cat.

Adriana: "Yes, Arithmancy was amazing!" She wasn't really paying attention to the lesson. She was an animagus, the youngest in a very long time - illegal, but still the youngest. Sje could turn herself into a fox, this lesson would be way too easy to be worth paying attention to.

Rose: She slouched back in her chair, turning her head slightly when she heard Adriana speak.

McGonagall: She looked around the room
In cat form. Again, she thought she- 'now, really, Minerva, what has gotten into you?' She transformed back. "I don't know what has gotten into you students. My previous classes were all astonished."

"I of course didn't believe a word - in fact, I'm dropping the class - but everyone else seems to be affected. I just already read a lot about Animagi so it's not a new topic for me."

McGonagall: "Ah. Thank you, Ms. McKinnon. And who is set to die this year?" When Harry raised his hand she simply explained the deal with Trelawney. "Your homework tonight will be one scroll on Animagi. You may go."

Rose: She walked out of class.

Dean Thomas: "That's a boggart, that is."

Remus Lupin: "Very good Mr. Thomas."

Kathleen: She shared a grin with her brother and Dean.

Reece: Reece was running to her fourth year class with Mara. She said, "Hurry up!" The both of them were so late.

Hermione: Her hand shot up into the air. "Boggarts are shapeshifters; they take form only of the greatest fears of their victim. Furthermore, no one knows what the true form is."

Rose: She looked up, mildly interested for once. "Wouldn't that make their true form nothing?"

Adriana: She shot her hand into the air. "Into non-being, which is to say, everything."

Remus Lupin: "Very good, Miss McKinnon. So to answer your question, Miss Fudge, boggarts exist the same way: as everything and nothing. If I could have a volunteer...Neville, come on up."

 

[Fairywings]

Neville: He approached.

Remus: "Now Neville, what is it you fear most?"

Neville: He muttered something.

Remus: "What was that?"

Neville: "Pro-Professor Snape sir."

Remus: "Ah I see. I don't blame you, he frightens us all I'm sure. Now I believe you live with my grandmother?"

Neville: "Yes, but I don't want it to turn into her either."

Remus: "Now, in a moment the boggart is going to come out that door and here's what I want you to do-" He whispered in Neville's ear.

Neville: He looked at Remus.

Remus: "I'm serious." Turning to the class, he said, "The spell to get rid if a boggart is Riddikulus, it forces the boggart to transform into something that you find truly amusing. What really hurts a boggart is laughter. So, let's begin. Are you ready Neville?"

Neville: He nodded.

Remus: He opened the door.

Boggart: The boggart came out, assuming the form of Severus Snape.

Neville: "Rid-Riddikulus!"

Boggart: Snape-Boggart was suddenly wearing Neville's grandmother's clothes.

Adriana and Kathleen: They laughed.

Remus: "All right, let's get started." He put on a record. "Dean!"

Dean Thomas: He stepped forward. The boggart turned into a dismembered hand. "Riddikulus!" The hand got caught in a mouse trap.

Remus: "Finnigan!"

Kathleen and Seamus: Not sure which one, they both went forward and the boggart turned into a banshee. Kathleen froze but then she and her brother cast, "Riddikulus!" and the banshee lost its voice. Grinning they moved away.

OOC: Whenever you're ready, Adriana will go right before Harry.
