Yay for the reveal! I couldn't see it from home because of my silly internet connection making youtube clips jump - and work blocks Facebook so.....but I knew you'd have it here eventually
so I FINALLY got to see it!! I love it, she really didn't know!
Oh and I just also want to say how cool it is that your phone announces "Walt Disney World calling!"
I'm glad you finally got to see it! Nope, she really had no clue! She was completely blown away!!!
LOL! We love the talking caller id! Especially now that the phone broke while we were away and I had to get new ones when we got home! The new one doesn't talk! Whenever it rings I wait for the voice to say "Call from..." and it doesn't come! Boo!

Scary! Yes, scary! I'm not sure I would be scared it I was in her shoes! But, she super uber planner girl and always wants to know what we're doing everyday. Parks, meals etc. This was completely out of her control and she no clue! I guess to her it seemed a bit scary! Thanks!!!

She really thought we were going in March! I really wish I had left the camera on! Pluto was excited! He could hear all the commotion and wanted out of the bathroom! Poor puppy! FIL and MIL had come over to see the surprise happen and FIL thought DS3 was lucked in bathroom! Really?! I left the 3 year old in the bathroom!? He was right there sitting on the floor!
The texts were too funny!!!
Honestly, I'm so surprised I pulled it off!!

And "the snake is in the boot!!"" I didn't realize there was a ferry from CT to LI. Well it makes much more sense....just didn't know there was one!!

The ferry is great! It's very convenient! It's also much more relaxing then driving all the way around through NYC!

Ok, so the surprise was revealed and the fun had just begun! DD and I quickly changed into our fancy dancy new shirts that Queen Jennifer had purchased, grab the bags and tried to head out!
The heading out part was not so easy because DS8 was very, very upset that I was leaving! He wasnt upset that he wasnt going. He was upset that I was leaving! Poor, sweet kiddo! I assured him that everything would be fine and that Daddy really does know how to take care of him and we slipped away!
First stop a quick, late breakfast at Friendlys! My first food of a trip to Disney World was breakfast at Friendlys?! Ok, Im not counting this because it was still in NY!
It was an adequate breakfast and it filled our bellies for the plane ride! I didnt want anyone to get too hungry!
Then we were off to the airport!
One of the awesome things about this trip was the fact that we were leaving the freezing cold, snowy, gross, awful winter we were having in NY and CT for warmth and beautiful sunshine in FL. I had checked the weather countless time in the days leading up to the trip and it appeared we were going to have FABULOUS weather all week!!
But first we had to make it to the terminal! We decided that Jen would just park the car in long term parking and we would walk to the terminal. The airport we were using is tiny airport so its not a long walk!
Or so it looked!
It was an awfully cold day and it was extremely windy!! The walk to the terminal was interesting to say the least! We all felt like wed be blown down! Our noses and hands were freezing! We just wanted warmth!!!
Finally we made it to the terminal! Jen and I sent the girls to the warmth of the terminal while we checked the bags curbside!
Thankfully we were the only ones on line and it was quick and easy to check the bags!
Off through security with little or no hassle!
I had forgotten to renew my drivers license when I should have and at that point only had a temporary paper license and my expired photo licenses! Everything I had read said I wouldnt have a problem and MaryEllen (MEK) had helped reassure me a little after her DH had lost his license on a trip. I was still slightly nervous though!
I handed my old license and temporary one to the TSA agent and he never even looked at the temp! OK then!
The thing I hate the most about air travel is going through the line at security! It seems so frazzled, rushed and crazy!
This wasnt really that bad except for the fact that the lady behind was trying to cut me! Queen Jen and the Princess cousins went through first, DD went in front of me and I while I was putting all my stuff and some of DDs in the bins this lady was seriously trying to weasel around me! She picked up a bin a tried to kind of push me out of her way and get in front of me!
I wasnt taking a long time. In fact, I think Im pretty fast going through the line! She was just not a nice person! She struck me as snobby and I guess no matter what the fact that I, or anyone else, was there was annoying to her! In our little airport there is no fast line for business class! So even if she was flying business class she still had to stand in line with the peons!
What shocked me was that this lady very obviously thought she was going to get away with it! Ummm, honey Im not sure who you think you are but this Jersey girl/Long Island chick wasnt gonna take that bull! I pride myself on being nice. If this lady was late for her flight or in some sort of need I surely would have let her go in front of DD and I. But she was just rude.
So the Jersey attitude came out. I looked her straight in the face, put my hand on my hip and said really?! I was prepared to say more. Not so much that Id get kicked off line or so much to raise a scene. It wouldnt have been worth it. But I would have said a few more words if I needed to!
Luckily, I didnt! She was shocked I said anything at all!
She actually took a step or 2 backwards and I went on about my business. I didnt want to have to show my tough side. But, well, she left me no choice! Sorry!
And so we were threw the line and off to the gate! The wait was uneventful and soon we were ready to board!

The flight was uneventful and we arrived at MCO about 20 minutes ahead of schedule!
Before the trip I had decided to forego ME this trip and have a car service take back and forth! I paid for a stretch limo. But when we got the airport I got a voicemail from the driver that said something about them normally meeting clients in the airport but because of the size of the vehicle they couldnt park in the area that they normally do. So I needed to collect the baggage and then call the driver. That left me wondering what the heck they were sending! I had a sneaking suspicion what it would be or be close to but I wasnt going to say anything! A few trips ago I had booked us a limo and got a stretch Hummer! I was wondering if it was something along those lines!
So after collecting the bags I made a quick call to the driver and we head downstairs to where he told me to meet him!
I had a lot of fun teasing the girls as numerous hotel shuttles for place like La Quinta drove by! Id say Darn, he forgot to stop for us! Now what are we going to do?!
Then I say what I thought was our ride approaching!!
It was a stretch Cadillac Escalade!!! The princesses were over the moon excited!!!! Freaking out and pretending to be movies stars!!!
Woo hoo for one heck of an upgrade!!!
To make the excitement even more at least one person in a passing car on the road could be seen taking a picture of our car! LOL!!
DD didnt know where we were staying and she was super excited when we pulled through the gates!
Of course, when we pulled up out front there was a family waiting by bell services and you could see the little boy say oh my god! when he saw the car!
So, with their best movie star drama and diva-ness the princesses waited for the driver to open the door before stepping out!
Woo hoo!!! We were at Poly!!!
After the fabulous car upgrade things were starting off in amazing fashion! But, what would happen next?! Would the stretch Escalade be our only brush with fabulousness?!

I'm with you...if she had mentioned she was in a hurry (don't we all want to get to our destination anyways?!!) I would have let her pass too but she sounds like she was just being a jerk!
Woo hoo for the limo upgrade!! The girls must have been so excited and shocked! How fun to pull up to the front of the resort and step out in style!!
