Loved all of the pictures of Dorothy and her trips! She really is a princess!! How I would have loved the BBB and gowns when I was younger!!

So wonderful that you brought along your sister and nieces again And yes, it sounds like your sister would appreciate some time away! What a wonderful outlook she has

Details, details, details!

Well, like I said in the intros, I’m a big planner! I love to tweak and re-do the plans to make sure that everything is exactly the way it should be! This trip was no different! I wanted everything to be perfect!

There were soooo many different versions of this trip I couldn’t even hope to give you the details on them! I had the trip scheduled 2 different time frames in March. Actually, my original plan had us at WDW right now!

I had a reservation at Boardwalk, I had a reservation at Bay Lake Towers! I had numerous ADR’s!

I had DD and I going alone, then I added my nieces and then my sister!

In the end I think I hit the jackpot and we had a perfect trip!

What did we end up with when all was said and done?

February 20th – 25th Theme Park View at Poly!!!

Poly is a beautiful resort and DD has talked about staying there for a long time!!!

A few pics from the anniversary trip DH and I took in March 09...









Planning this trip was no easy feat! Because it was a surprise!

DD is super smart, very intuitive and has really big ears! She is also a really big snoop! A few time there were slips that almost cost us the surprise! DH slipped more then once but was able to back peddle enough to get out of it! Queen Jennifer slipped while talking to DD on the phone and saying, “I’ll see you next week!” Luckily, I was able to weasel out of that one by telling her they were thinking about coming to visit for a few days over presidents week!

Then the surprise was really almost given up when I had called WDW to order a birthday cake and a few other surprises! They called me back 3 times after DD got home from school!! It wouldn’t be a big deal if we didn’t have talking caller id! When the phone says “call from Walt Disney World” it’s a little hard to get out of that one! But luckily she bought my “it was a survey about our last trip” explanation!

Needless to say she was a little suspicious! She even got caught snooping on my computer for details! She had a spreadsheet for when I had the trip planned for March 9th – 14th! LOL!!! She was so upset she got busted and we had a little talk about letting a surprise be a surprise! After all, what’s the fun in the surprise being given up?!

She was so upset! That she got caught! She is a HUGE snoop! She tries to snoop out christmas presents and birthday presents. If there is a shopping bag around she has to know what's inside! She listens to EVERYTHING! She's terrible and DH is exactly the same way!

Hard to beat the Poly in terms of beauty.
We sat out on that beach the first of this month and did not want to get out of the lounge chairs. I just wanted to fall asleep in the warmth of the sunshine under the swaying palms. It was heavenly!

You should really consider Poly!! Remember, that's where DH and I spent our 10th! There is nothing more romantic (at least to me) then that castle view!!!!!

Many of you have pointed out that it’s amazing that the secret stayed a secret! With the princess being a snoop and the talking caller trying to give it up, not to mention slips by a lot secret keepers, it was close to impossible!

I really think that the only thing that kept her from figuring it out was her own mind! She had herself utterly convinced that we were going in March!

Up until the very last minute wasn’t 100% sure that she didn’t know! But she honestly had no clue at all!

So, on the morning of the 20th I was up bright and early to get myself ready and pack the last minute things before DD got up!

Queen Jennifer and the Princess Cousins had an early morning too. They live in CT and are just an hour and a half ferry ride away!

They had to catch a 7:30 am ferry to get here in time to surprise DD, eat something and head to the airport!

Throughout the morning I got lots of funny text messages in code from Princess Jessica! “Phase 1 complete, we are at the ferry!” “Phase 2 in progress, we are on the ferry!” “The snake is in the boot! We are turning onto your street!” LOL!!!

While DD played a well-timed game of Wii with DH and I promptly escorted our very lively yellow lab, Pluto (yes, Pluto) into the restroom so he wouldn’t jump on anyone in all the excitement, Queen Jen, Princess Jessica and Princess Julianna snuck into our backyard and in our backdoor!!

I turned the camera off briefly because I thought that she got the picture that we were going right then! But then I could tell she didn’t! I asked her when we were going and she said “I don’t know, March sometime!” Her yelling “I knew it, I knew, I knew it!” Meant she “knew” Jess and Jule were coming with us! Not she “knew” that we were going or that she “knew” we were going right then!

Yay for the reveal! I couldn't see it from home because of my silly internet connection making youtube clips jump - and work blocks Facebook so..... but I knew you'd have it here eventually so I FINALLY got to see it!! I love it, she really didn't know!
