Okay, we awoke from a nice nap and were ready to hit the Magic Kingdom again for the evening, but not without grabbing dinner in the Pop food court first. We had just walked into the food court, when all of the sudden, I hear "Do the Hustle" and the cast members started doing the hustle right in the middle of the food court! Some of them even help up little signs that said, "Do the Hustle." They recruited a few guests and away they went! It was very cute. I hear that they also do The Twist early in the mornings as well. Anyway, the food court has these great TV dinners and each night is a different dinner. This evening was turkey & dressing with mashed potatoes & green beans. It looked so good we both ordered it and we were not disappointed. It was very delicious! Nice and hot, too.
So off we went, with full tummies, to our bus and we were on our way back to the Magic Kingdom. As we got off the bus and were walking toward the front gate, I noticed this beautiful bird perched on a rock. I'd love to know what kind of bird this is, if anyone knows. . .
We made it to the front gate and I stopped to snap a picture of the Main Street Depot before we went in. . .
And I stopped to snap a picture of one of the windows. . .I thought the music window was appropriate for me, since I am going to me a music teacher!
As you can see, it was still pretty crowded!
But it didn't detract from our fun at all. We're in Disney! We decided to go ride Pirates and then use our Jungle Cruise fastpasses from earlier today. Yes, this is the Pirates ride I mentioned earlier where everyone and their dog was taking flash pictures! Arrrrgghhh! Oh well. . .at least I got some great pictures of the outside!
We had a hilarious Jungle Cruise captain. I never get tired of their corny jokes! It was also really neat to note the differences between this Jungle Cruise and Disneyland's Jungle Cruise. WDW's Jungle Cruise has this neat dark tunnel that you go through that Disneyland is missing and I thought it was very neat! I was kind of nervous that some critter was going to jump out at me in the dark, though!
Thankfully that didn't happen!
It was starting to get dark by this time and I always wanted to ride the TTA at night, so we did that and were going to secure a spot for Wishes. . .however I started feeling really sick all of the sudden. I have Lyme Disease and sometimes I get symptoms out of the blue for no reason. I also became terribly fatigued so we reluctantly decided to skip Wishes and see it when we came back to the Magic Kingdom next week. So we spent a grand total of 2 hours in the Magic Kingdom tonight! Darn Lyme Disease! I was really upset because I really wanted to see Wishes, having never seen it before. . .but James assured me we would see if before we went back home to Texas. So I snapped a few pictures of the castle and we grabbed a bus back to our room and watched a bit of TV before we finally fell asleep.
Stay tuned for Day 4! We're going to Epcot for the very first time! Yay!
