Chapter 13 - Our Magical Morning
January 16th, 2011

Kristen and I were having a lovely morning and Fantasyland! Mother and Vick called us to let us know they had arrived! We decided to meet near Dumbo because we had to get on it before the crowds came!

Pinocchio was standing right near Dumbo with no line! So, we jumped in and got a quick picture with him! He was really precious. Then while we were in line for Dumbo, Pinocchio was jumping in the puddles on the sidewalk. What an angel.

We waited in line for the Flying Elephant! It wasn't too bad, around 15-20 minutes at that point in the morning.

Mother and I got the Dumbo with the yellow hat...

and Kristen and Vick had the one with an orange hat.

After Dumbo, mother volunteered to go get Space Mountain fastpasses while we met some more characters! Kristen spotted Mary Poppins, but just as we got over there, she left. How sad!

So we went in one of the little shops and looked around. This dress is so pretty! And I love that it changes colors!

Then after we went and met Peter Pan! He was precious as well.

We headed to Adventureland afterwards and met Ariel. Mother found us while we were waiting in line. I have to say, this Ariel was the most legitimate looking princess I have ever seen in my whole life. She looked EXACTLY like the real Ariel... it was almost scary! It looked like she was plucked out of the movie and dropped right in Adventureland. She was absolutely beautiful! Kristen was very excited to meet her because Ariel is her favorite princess.

Then we went on Pirates of the Caribbean! (Does anyone actually buy these hats? I feel like they're just there as dress-up clothes to take a picture with. )

We passed the dry Splash Mountain. That was really hard on all of us, especially Kristen because it's her absolute favorite. What a sad moment.

We walked to Liberty Square...

And next was the Haunted Mansion! Oooh Scary!

We were getting hungry so we made our way over to Main Street U.S.A. We stopped to take some pictures with the castle because it was so beautiful!

I am obsessed with these two next pictures. They look like so professional... I was so proud of myself. The second one is the background on my laptop. So pretty!

We took a little bathroom break and took a picture by this pretty fountain! I have no idea why, but this little area of the Magic Kingdom is one of my favorite areas in all of Disney. It is just so adorable. I wish I could get proposed to there one day.

Then we were off to an all-time favorite: Casey's! We all got Hot Dogs and fries. Yummy!

I also noticed that they added a dessert to the list: Cotton Candy. Interesting! I just got a brownie though... which I didn't eat.

Kristen and Vick took advantage of the Dining Plan and got Large Drinks. Aww yeah.

great update!!!! I love all the pics I LOVE THE CASTLE PICS!!!! If you don't mind, can I use one of them for my desktop background?!!! It always seems like we're at MK at night and never during the day except for when I worked there and was there during the day

Lunch looks yummy!! I've gotten the cotton candy the past few times, ate a piece or two and ended up throwing it out by the end of the trip. At least a brownie is small enough to stuff in a bag!

The shipping/duty is way too much into Canada to go the route of the website again We did PJs for our upcoming trip and it was almost as much as a whole new pair! I think I'll try my luck in the park and alternate it with my much anticipated Stitch hat!

The food photo's from Rainforest cafe look so amaaazing, I totally want to try that coconut shrimp it looks so good and I've never had any desire to taste any seafood in my whole life! You got great photo's in the outside area's too!

All the bathrobe photo's are great, my favourites being the sleeping ones and the ballerina poses! and lovely singing from the youtube clip! that was brave to do it in front of people you don't know, but I think when you've got your friends with you, you always feel a little braver. Me and my dance team have danced in a lot of impromptu places, we had to dance for free donuts in the airport food court on our last trip abroad and we're never adverse to dancing for a free drink or two in a pub when we're all away on trips!

That Ariel photo is very lovely, I'm guessing that Peter Pan didn't make it onto the hot boy list for that day? he just doesn't seem like a perfect pan!

So, I want to tell you that I was teaching diction today...formal versus informal -learned language versus popular language, slang and jargon.

My kids all use the term "jaun" for their slang. I introduced the word frump (which was a term that I've used for years - however, frump-do was new to me...) They had never heard it, and some decided they wanted to adopt it.

I thought you ladies would enjoy the use of "frump" in an English class in PA; also, I wasn't sure if "jaun" would be a new term for you...

PS - jaun is used for EVERYTHING- pass the jaun...you know the jaun who she was with...

Haha I have never heard of that term before! I'm sure it'll end up getting used around here sometime or another. I am SO excited to hear that you're sharing the word frump! That makes us very happy It really is a fantastic word isn't it?!

Yeah it's definitely more convinient to hit it first. I don't like to wait in a line for it but it's a must do when you're in Disney with fun people!

Thank you! And haha yes, it was great! Actually no there were hardly any lines at all! I guess that's the beauty of rope drop! The Ariel line was probably the longest but it was only like 10 minutes.

There were sheets on some of the bldgs when we went in Sept too.

The Pinocchio picture was too cute. And, the picture of you & your mom on Dumbo is a priceless picture of you two to always have.

I was thinking the same thing about Ariel when I saw the picture of her. She does looks very beautiful & just like the real Ariel.
With some of the princesses, I wonder how in the world the person got the job because they look nothing like the princess.
Example: our Cinderella that we had when we ate at CRT looked NOTHING close to Cinderella
