We loved Teppan Edo! Great restaurant, and we had a great chef at our table!

Supper at Teppon Edo!!!

I forgot to mention that on our way to Japan we encountered the BRIDGE up for the fireworks to be towed down for the evening !!This is only the second time I have seen this !!

We arrived in good time for our ressies !! We didn't have to wait long and were taken waaay in the back where all ten of us were seated together
The Japanese waitress came out and did the customary bowing , which impressed everyone especially one (more on that later)Our drink orders taken and delivered and then our food ordered !! I had the scallops , so did Carol I think most of the others had steak or chicken!!
Then it was time

The guys and Carol , were intrigues by the onion volcano

The food was delish as always and everyone voted it a HIT!! Someone let the cat outta the bag that Carol and another had a birthday coming up soooo they were given Chef hats and sung to !!! Carol is saved this humiliation as I did.ny get a pix of just her

As we were leaving one of the guys said " I wanna take a Hot Tub with the waitress She has the HOTS for me !!!!" Okay where do you get the "HOTS" from" Can I getyou another drink!!!!"

After supper we headed to:

Which once again our GAC cards got us on waaay quicker than standbye !!

We found a spot for Illuminations , that was reasonably close to the exit for a fast getaway !!!
The bFireworks were great and everyone enjoyed their first full day !!!

We have never eaten at Teppan Edo and it looks entertaining (may have to give it a try some time). It's a good thing Carol is not on these boards or, Rosie, my friend, I think you'd be in for it.

Heya Rosie, Teppan Edo looks really good. I LOVE Japanese Steak houses. This is one place we will have to hit on my trip. I'm sure Carole wanted to crawl in a hole and die after the birthday song. Did they sing it in English or Japanese. The one my DBF and I always go to sing the Japanese Birthday song which is a lot faster and upbeat then ours. I like it. Would have loved to seen her in the chef hat.

I think I am going to have to get DH to agree to Teppen Edo sometime. In all the years we have been going - the only restaurant in World Showcase he will eat at has been America. But I'm working on him - I got him "across the border" to Canada once. I figured steak at Le Cellier was something "he could eat". That's what he says when we look at the menus for the various restaurants "they don't have anything I can eat". I tell him he "can" eat it he just "won't"

Then last year we made it to the UK and ate at Rose & Crown.....actually I didn't get him there so much as Gordon Ramsey did. We were on a kick for awhile watching old episodes of Kitchen Nightmares so Danny (DH) decided he wanted to try some of that stuff that Ramsey's always talking about.

This trip we are booked at Biergarten. So he is really branching out.....maybe I can sneak Japan in there. Neither of us have any interest in sushi at all but I keep seeing reports from Teppen Edo that look good.

Of course when he mentioned the Hot Tub a few otheres wanted in on the action !!!!Carol and I just smiled and ignored the whole thing !!!If the poor girl knew what doing her job translated to in the eyes of certain MR folk More "HOTS" later on!!!

I do have a way of opening my mouth and inserting FOOT !!Just ask Glen !!!! As for T.E. Tell your hubby that the food is great !! It is mainly steaks, chicken, shrimp or scallopps !! You have dipping sauces that you don't have to use and Noodles with veggies and rice !!! Sushi is on the menu but I too don't have any desire to try it !! The weak part is the desserts !!The chocolate ginger cake is the best !!If he is a steak man this is perfect cuz you watch it being cooked and so it is cooked the way you like it !!

The only laughs I got this week were on these boards it's been a brutal week for me !!! So far behind with all my trips and am already over my 40 hours this week and as I don't get o/t I don't plan on many hours tomorrow !!Have to do Timesheets ... my guys need their pay cchecks !!!

Little side news !!!! Kyle has started wrestling classe and he LOVES it !!! Judy loves it tooo as she now has some leverage for getting homework done !! Tomorrow he is in a parade with the wrestlers !!Yay I get to stand out in the rain and cold to watch him!!!!!
