HAs anyone been there and what did you think? Just saw it on the MK map and have never heard about it. TIA! :goodvibes

Great place for lunch - relax in the air conditioning. Sandwiches and salads ar big. Never had any room for dessert. Of all the Disney restaurants this is the only restaurant we repeat every year and have been repeating it for the last 20 years. Nothing fancy, just good sandwiches. Quality has been the same year after year.

We had a good meal there, it was a nice quiet cool place for lunch on a hot August Day....Not a good value on the dining plan since its not that expensive , we would go again and I would pay OOP and use our credit someplace else. My oldest dd loves the kids chef salad, its huge they usually split between 2 of them and still have some left.

The Plaza is a wonderful place for lunch at the MK. So far, every thing we have had there (Tuna, Burger, Chicken & Swiss, Reuben, & Club) has been divine. The shakes are great. It's also wonderful to not over eat too much and face the sleepies when there is so much Park to conquer! Definitely give it a try.:woohoo:

We love it and wouldn't miss it. We have a 3 course meal :) My husband and I split a salad, split a sandwich, and split a sundae. Who said you can't be romantic at MK! -- We love it -- it's one of our special places.

I agree with the other posters - its is a great lunch spot. . . . but, it's also good for dinner too! You cannot go to the plaza and pass on a dessert or a shake - it's just not possible. So - it can be a very filling meal!!

It's a good place to eat but wouldn't use it on the dinning plan. It's not worth it in my opinion.

We love the Plaza. We're going again this August for lunch. My kids like the burgers and I like their Reuben (I get it without the Russian dressing). We've NEVER had room for dessert!! You'll enjou it very much. Charming atmosphere in a Victorian setting. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I've been there for dinner on several occasions and so far have tried these items:
Angus Chuck Cheeseburger
Cheese Steak Sandwich
Grilled Chicken Sandwich

All very good and the environment is pleasant also...you'll enjoy it.:thumbsup2

We ate here in April for the first time and it will not be the last. We both had the cheesesteak and it was great! What great selection of sandwiches and salads. I do agree that it might not be the best value for the DP but we had extra credits and used it here anyway. I think I had the Plaza sundae for desert and that was yummy too!

no this place is awful ;) just terrible:rolleyes1
stay away!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We LOVE the Plaza! We eat there every MK trip for lunch. Great sandwiches, nice cool and relaxing to take a break from the park. We usually split a salad and either split a sandwich or get one each depending on our plans for the rest of the day. The Club sandwich is great, as is the turkey sandwich and the tuna (although I get it on multigrain bread instead of the croissant). We were picked as 'family of the day' when we ate their on my birthday last year. We had gotten into a long conversation w/some of the Main Street players outside, and they came in and declared us the family of the day. We got a certificate and free dessert. We had also just gotten engaged so they were really loving us!

It is good. They have sandwiches, burgers, salads and dessets. They don't have full meals such as steak dinners, etc. The burgers are great, I dine there often. They are open all day from around 11:30 am until around 8 or 9 pm or so. Great for lunch or dinner..or both!

My wife and I are eating there our first night down there in September, mostly because we couldn't get into CP, but it still sounds super nice.

Do the milkshakes count as a non-alcoholic beverage on the DDP or are they extra? I'm pretty excited about trying one now. I also think I have to have a cheesesteak. My wife grew up near Philly and got me hooked on cheesesteaks, although I'm not nearly as picky as she is when it comes to their quality.

A lot of people don't think it is worth it on the dining plan, but we do it anyway. It is one of our must-do's every trip. We get so tired of all the "heavy" meals we eat at the other restaurants, that we enjoy this laid back, ice-cream type parlor for great sandwiches, potato salad/fries, shakes and desserts. It will be our last lunch on the day we depart on our upcoming trip.

I too had skipped this place over the years and still have yet to try it. I did not even know it existed until I saw several reviews here. It has always gotten good reviews though.

I already have this down for our next trip and you all have made me really excited to go!!!! Already know what I am having. A nice burger and a chocolate milkshake!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

We're not doing DDP so it will be perfect for us!

My family and I had lunch there in August 2006. We thought it was a good location, the food is ok and we found nothing wrong with it.
