The Plaza Restaurant

I have heard about this restaurant for years and thought I actually ate there last year but to my surprise, I read yesterday that the Plaza is a table service restaurant and is not the place I ate at.
So, I looked online at some pictures taken from the outside of the eatery and I don't recognize the place at all. Like I had never been to MK before in my life and if you know anything about me I've been to MK over 60 times.
So the great mystery is: How have I missed this restaurant all these years??
Would anyone like to share their comments on the Plaza, while I have the subject on the table?

It's a place easily missed if you are not looking for it. If you don't know where it is, going up main st toward's the castle you would make a right at the Ice cream store. It is next door, Tables outside where you can waite if you need to. It's a cute little place with great sandwitches and Ice Cream. Most people miss it but you should give it a try

Cool 1920's decor, yummy HUGE sandwiches and very good ice cream sundaes. We love this place!

This is a great sandwich place. You will find it hidden right behind the Main St Ice Cream Shop, on the Tomorrowland side.
Cant say enough good things about their Rueben and the Turkey.

It was one of our pleasant surprises in December. A wonderful place to get a nice fresh tasting sandwich and ice cream at MK.

We love the Plaza...we get a very late lunch (or very early dinner, really) PS there and then I go scope out a spot for Spectro and Wishes on the hub while the kids and DH head to the arcade in Tomorrowland. They have great sandwiches, comfy seating, and wonderful ice cream. My DD asked for an ice cream cone for dessert last trip and the CM said sadly that they don't have cones there. Turns out she ran next door to the ice cream parlor and got one for her!

The confusion may be in the fact that MK has not one, but two places named the Plaza! There is the Plaza Pavilion and then there is the Plaza Restaurant!

The Pavilion is the place that is counter service that you walk through as you try to avoid the main hub traffic , and the Restaurant is the little out-of-the main hustle and bustle where everyone described. It is a sit-down restaurant.
