Is anyone else watching this amazing show??? My new favorite show that keeps me on the edge of my seat!

We are close to Pittsburgh and familiar with all of the Hospital names and places they mention.

I love medical dramas, this is by far the best I’ve watched. I love that the focus is on the ED and not the sex lives of the staff.

Pittsburgher here! Beyond wonderful. The entire cast is superb. It's been a very long time since a show has totally captivated me.

My DD is a dentist. She began as a nursing student at the University of Pittsburgh, but could not stand the hospital setting. I completely understand why! How anyone works under such pressure is mind blowing.

I just watched the 1pm-2pm episode last night. Loving it! I want to get caught up because I've already seen some spoilers on social media. But I only watch 1 episode a night so that's not happening. Ha!

Last night I told my husband that I think I hold my breath for so much of the episodes.

It's pretty accurate. They even got the "regulars" right. I work in mental health crisis in an emergency department doing psych evals, so "The Kracken" is the patient population I work with. I LOVE that they spoke about the assertive community team to help him get his medications, etc... I thought that little snippet was a good representation of how difficult it can be for people to be compliant with treatment and decompensate so terribly. And the reaction to the mandatory 72 hour hold is also on point, unfortunately.

I liked code black, I recall it was also said to be more accurate than others.
