The Pirates and the Frog (7/17 Welcome to the Next Adventure!)

Great Photpass pictures! :thumbsup2
Also- I love the Muppets tees you and your maiden were wearing :thumbsup2

Aww, all your photos at DHS were awesome :thumbsup2

Love your writing of the great movie ride, you have such a flare for writing a fun story from a pirates point of view. You should write a kids book :goodvibes

This is where the crew was a bit freaked out.
Despite my warnings of alien beats, the crew still cowered in fear.

Aye, laddie. The only thing worse than the Romulan Rhumba :rockband: is the Terrible Tribble Tango! :dancer:
:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Are you sure Stitch wasn't REALLY in that picture, because that's one of the most convincing Stitch pictures I have ever seen. Really good!

I love the pirate tale of the GMR. Very creative!

LOVE the picture of Stitch with little X looking at him, perfect!

Yeah, that one turned out great!
X really was staring right at him!

Adorable! :thumbsup2 Sorry to hear your crew wasn't impressed with GMR. I wonder if they ever will update it? I know my kids wouldn't know a lot of the movies. :confused3

Breakfast was pretty good at H&V.
And the movie night has been lots of fun - in fact, it's time for this weekend's movie...

Awesome ,hope u all had a good time :thumbsup2

Sounds like everyone had a great weekend w/ the Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts ! DS6 just joined Tiger Cubs 2 weeks ago , although we have yet to receive a e-mail or phone call about the 1st meeting :confused3 If they don't set one up soon he will just have to have his 1st meeting once we arrive in California with a new Den :)

Nice update :thumbsup2

Love the group shots from DHS ! The Magic Shot w/ Stitch is great ,we've never done that one before .

Sounds like a pretty good time was had on the GMR w/ the adults , sorry to hear that your kids were not able to connect so much :( We do the ride just about every trip and I have to say I love it just the way it is ! Everyone can have there own opinions though :)

Have a great weekend Capell Family , can't wait to read more popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::

Yeah, I like it but it definitely doesn't resonate with the kids that much.
It's weird having to explain Alien and who Clint Eastwood and John Wayne are...

Tiger Scouts were fun - it's a nice intro in Cub Scouting.
X can't wait to join but he's still got a couple of years...

You guys have a great weekend as well.
Hopefully I can get another post up tomorrow after our Disney Movie of the Week!
This one is a big deal!!

With the Pirate Princess' date of birth a little over two weeks away, we had a special plan for this weekend's Disney Movie Countdown.
I had acquired tickets for the family (and our beloved Boxmaster) to attend a very Special Event.

As you may have heard, Disney was planning something perfect for our little princess.
For two nights only, They were showing Beauty and the Beast on the silver screen!
And it was to be a Sing Along Event!

So, after two morning soccer games (our crew must stay in shape you know), we quickly switched into our Disney finest and headed out.
You can see the excitement in her eyes as she donned her golden gown. princess:

We arrived just in time and were treated to some trivia, behind the scenes footage, and a vocal warmup by Jordin Sparks.
Granted, it wasn't live but it was a nice way to start the show.
And, behind us, a trio of gals spent the movie singing their hearts out.

It was a grand experience.
Only the Fair Maiden had ever seen this particular film on the silver screen so it was a treat.
The movie looked great and the sound quality was superb.
It's one we haven't watched ad naseum so everyone caught pieces that they hadn't noticed before.
Even the First Mate, who was against this from the start as it was all princess-y, could be heard laughing and enjoying himself.
We even met a familiar crew at the event and were able to enjoy it alongside them!

All in all, it made for a great early Birthday present and a great addition to our Disney Countdown.
And with that, 5 weekends down and 16 to go until we arrive back in Disney!
Now, back to our tale - I believe we were heard for a certain chest of a peasant named Andy...

I wondered as I read how your First Mate would deal with this :cutie: Glad to hear it worked out fine :goodvibes

I remember last time I "encouraged" DH & DS go to Voyage of the Little Mermaid, wasn't pretty :lmao:

Afterwards I told him "see, it wasn't too bad."
"Yeah, but I didn't really like it either."
I guess you can't win.
He did get really excited on the way out when he saw the the movie posters for upcoming films.
He called me over to check out Tron Legacy and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Dawn Treader. :goodvibes

Yeah, he's definitely a boy and into all the sci-fi and fantasy much like his dad.

Very nice birthday treat !!!!

She was very excited to parade around in her golden gown and see the movie.
Now she's fully into party planning mode! ;)

What a nice treat for your little princess! :goodvibes Sounds like fun :)

I was actually surprised that the theatre wasn't very crowded.
I don't think they did a really good marketing job for this Special Event as noone seemed to know about it.
But it was a unique experience and we all had a blast!
