The Pin Trading Parade - Anyone Have and Details

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the Pin Trading Parade -

Is it actually a parade.

Are there floats.

I heard there are 400 pins to trade - are the pins floating.

Are there lines to trade.

Anyone have any details about what happens.

We will be there for the last one.

There is no parade really and definitely no floats. What it is, a large cart with a bullentin board that you are allowed to trade five pins off. Please look for Brer Frogs post farther down this page for info on pin releases and so more details and pictures go to Sundays Dizpin listing. At the end is a link to a report with pictures that will give you an idea of how it looked for the first one. Hope this helps. (no applause, send pins)

You may want to read the post "the pin event" posted by Raulandpinboy, it kind of explains the whole day.
This weeks will be held inside the Contemporary Hotel, by the Pin Station, I think the "parade" part is us marching around the double corkboards trying to pick out the 5 pins we want to trade....
