Wow gang the pin traders are here it's Sunday and man oh man what we saw will knock your socks off read on for details.
First I went with my little lanyard on my neck thinking nobody's here yet, let me look around. Boy was I wrong they are here, and in droves... many doing the whole week stay.
This is what happened today 8-5-2001. A diary you might say.
First Disney's gone all out and put some really cool pins on lanyards, today we found a Tokyo Peter Pan, An LE 2500 Disney pin, Jiminy Crickets Badge of courage, Beauty and the Beast Broadway, and get this a continuing the traditions pin.
A Disney employee who will remain nameless told us, that the lanyards would be fully restocked with some cool pins on Wednesday night for the Thursday trade day.
We met with at least 5 people from California, and they were dying to trade for Florida pins any Florida pins, so they loaded up lanyards with Disneyland pins.
And the trading oh the trading I traded my LE 1000 Port Orleans pin, for a Disney land Mystery Pooh in the plane pin. I was happy they were happy a good trade all around.
A California boy wanted to trade the complete Haunted Mansion from Disneyland, for my Granddaughters Port Orleans LE 1000 But we talked him out of it and told him to keep it.
Some pins were released for the 100-year celebration for those who did not see them take a look.
