is cooling on the pie rack. The Blueberry-Banana muffins have just been taken out of the oven.

For some reason I'm in a bit of a baking mood. I think it's the shorter days and cooler temps, that smell of Fall in the air. Unfortunately, it gets me into an eating mood too! :)

Is anyone else starting to feel more interested in cooking and baking these days? Does Fall affect your appetite? :)

Me too...I like to bake and cook stuff in the oven or on the stove that take all day to simmer.

I coming to your house for dessert tonight.

I like to bake also when the weather gets cooler. I love the smell of muffins baking too! Yum!!

Can I get directions to your house? I'd also like some of that Peach Custard pie!!

Fall does have some effect on my appetite....

posts like this have even more.....

YUMMMY....:)

Oh, yes! I've been taking tomatoes and making sauce....freezing it for a bit of summer warmth in the winter.

Also making batches of pesto and freezing them!

We baked 2 apple pies and an apple crisp after apple picking on Sunday up at my SIL's!

I'd say I'm in the mood!

Fall in the air?????

I wish, its still 88 degrees and humid here! I can't wait to smell fall!!

sounds very yummy!

Yes I cook a lot more when its cooler outside!

LOL....I better get out the good dessert plates, and maybe make another pie! ;) Pear pie is yummy too! :)

Beauty, it's 76 degrees here, but Fall is definitely in the air. Too bad we don't have a scratch 'n sniff feature! :)

Minnesota, I'll PM you the recipe. It's the easiest pie in the world to make! :)

I have a feeling this could end up on the Recipe board! :)

Sure Liz, and anyone else who is interested. This is the easiest pie you will ever make! :)

Peach Custard Pie

1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
6 to 8 large peaches
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
pinch salt

Peel peaches and cut into large slices. Arrange in pie shell. Beat eggs, sugar and salt together and pour over peaches. Bake at 400F for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325F and bake 45 minutes more. Cool.

Kim :)
