Just an FYI:
I saved the bag and when I was packing the fridge up I realized it would fit inside the bag. I placed the bag INSIDE the box, to make a liner in case of leaks. Then I put the fridge inside the bag lined box and pulled the bag over the top and sealed up the box. I didn't use tape on the bag so it wouldn't tear. Hopefully the bag will last through a few people and between a towel inside the fridge for storage and the bag it will contain any accidental leaks..

Wow, this fridge is getting the royal treatment. Sounds like it will be around for a while

Alright, a few pics! As you can see, everyone's leaving their mark on the fridge and personalizing it.

Just for reference, if anyone hasn't stayed at POP before I took a pic of the entrance so you can see where luggage services is. It's not inside, I ended up walking right past it without seeing it. I asked the CM at check-in and she directed me back out front.

So if you're facing the main entrance where Magical Express drops you off, or where you pull your car around to go in and check in it's just outside the doors to your right. There's a window built into the building with two signs, "Airline Check In" and "Luggage Assistance" - in this picture, you can see the people lined up to the right of the main doors checking in for their airline in the morning.

Carrie... I just wanted to say you are doing an awesome job!! It sounds like everything is going well and the fridge is being well cared for! You are definitely adding some magic to our upcoming vacation!

I also wanted to ask you if you would mind if I left a journal with the fridge - some of the other groups like the POP window decorating group are doing this and it seems like people are really enjoying reading entries and leaving entries for other fellow disers! We could also use it as a way of leaving hints/tips for others, etc. I would be more than happy to leave one when we go if noone leaves one before then -- that is if it is okay by you!?

Anyaway... just wanted to say... for all of your hard work!!

I've been recommending everyone PM the family before and after them as the date nears to get all the important information (exchange contact information - names, phone numbers, etc) Right now there are packets for each family through the beginning of January, set up by our first swapper Sandy who has offered to do more for those signed up after the last packet. The packet has all the important info, but I highly highly recommend sending a private message to the DISers before and after just so you have the information on you should something happen to the information sitting with the fridge at Disney.

WantToGoNow *should* have the fridge as we speak. I haven't heard anything to the contrary, so I'm assuming it was picked up alright. I'll touch base when WantToGoNow returns to make sure and post an update.

Just giving this a little bump. If anyone sees Twinkies around, maybe direct her over here. Our last swapper had to skip over to family after because we have been unable to get in touch with her to get contact information and Disney won't hold without at least a name. Thankfully WantToGoNow took care of things (again I'm so sorry and hope it didn't cause too much trouble!) and dug out the label for BBGirl so we can keep it moving.

And if you all saw the new thread title - we have a few days open up in December if anyone wants to use it!
