Another successful swap! mickeymaker2003 let me know she has the fridge and she will be doing an in-person swap with blessedby3 on 6/4.

Both mickeymaker and blessed are return swappers so I have no worries!

Just a reminder-if your trip is rapidly approaching make sure you have made arrangements with both your swappers and that you have let me know. You will see a by your name if you have. If you only see a 1/2 or no at all by your name and you are leaving within the next 2-3 weeks you need to do this ASAP.

Also, make sure you have my contact info (cell phone, email, etc.) so you can let me know that you have successfully gotten the fridge, and everything that is with it. Thanks.

We are still in need of a new box for anyone who is driving down. Since both the coffeemaker and toaster won't fit inside the fridge itself the box needs to be big enough to accommodate the fridge and the coffeemaker. If the box falls apart then we will lose one of our items. In the past when we have had 2 boxes we have always lost the 2nd smaller box rather quickly. We have lost toasters, coffeemakers, and fans over the past 5 years. If you can't bring a new box bring a roll of duct tape (and only duct tape please) to reinforce the box. Right now it is basically made of duct tape. Which means it won't fall apart but it's pretty ..... flexible right now.

I have several large pieces of cardboard so I'm going to make a 27x27x27 box to bring down in July. I teach a class in sculpture so if I can't whip out a plain old box I don't need to teach the class anymoreI'll reinforce the bottom with an extra layer of cardboard. This should be large enough for all the extras that get put in! Any information that needs to be on the box itself?

That's great thanks. . The box we have has one of those plastic page protectors taped to it for next swappers info to go into. That can just be transferred over to the new box. Also there's are few 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper with Dizneydaz, etc. on it. If you can move them over as well that would be great too.

If you are going to make the box maybe we should make it a little smaller. Let me check on the size of the fridge again and I'll get back to you, okay?

You can see the page protector and the 2 signs as well. If the signs won't transfer over, could you make a new sign? It may even be time for a new page protector too. TIA

Yeah, that box looks really bad. Whatever you think the measurements need to be just let me know. I have sheet protectors and can make some more signs for the sides. Can't wait until JulyNow if I could only find my son a 2011 graduation hat!!

I just wanted to say thanks so much for letting our family use the fridge again! It came in handy for us and we were very thankful for whoever left the aloe gel in there. My ds and his friend got sun burned and I had forgotten to pack the aloe. Thankfully there was some in the fridge.

Sorry, but that's the slot I have held for me. I have a reservation starting on 9/24. I will have to decide in mid-August if I am keeping it. If I don't I will post here that it is open. I am not taking a back up list for that time (way too many requests with free DDP) so it will be first come, first served.

The autograph book was used by the swapper before me. There was the lovely aloe, a set of 4 plastic bowls, room decorations (mainly Christmas looking ones as I remember)--we didnt use them as we had so much stuff in our 2 rooms already with 8 people
There was also a bag with random stuff like toilet paper, coffee filters, etc. as well as the toaster and coffee pot. I left the dish soap and bibs and table toppers as well. Hopefully someone can bring a box soon. It was very weak, but we managed to get everything in there. Thanks again
