Aww Ashley, that pic is so cute. I love when pets act like they like each other!

Your couch seems to have that effect on them doesn't it? (The pic with Jeremiah from the other day was on the couch too, wasn't it?) We were not originally going to go for 8 nights, my mom wanted to go Saturday to Friday or Saturday, but I suggested staying the extra night & going home on Sunday morning so we don't have to rush rush with just a morning in the parks and then it gets very hectic trying to get everyone back & ready to go at the same time. I couldn't believe she went for it! I tried to suggest leaving home on Friday after work too, but that was pushing it.

I'm so excited about getting to see you again & meeting Jeremiah, I have a feeling he will really entertain the kids. I agree that the rest of you guys might want to start checking out prices... just sayin'!
Yesterday was such a great day, the girls said they were sad that it had to end. We went to Kindergarten Roundup in the morning, they had the kids go through a "mini-day" of K while the parents did paperwork. They went to class, the music room, and gym. Emma is SO excited and wants to start K immediately! I am so proud of her but it makes me sad that my baby is growing up so fast.
Disney on Ice was a lot of fun! We really had to rush to get there, and my GPS doesn't recognize the main road to get to the arena which I found out too late, so we had a tour through a very sketchy part of KCMO.

We finally made it just in time, and the line at will-call was REALLY long! We missed about 10 minutes but the girls were super surprised and had a wonderful time. The show was great, as always, and our seats were perfect.
On the way to Disney on Ice, Lyzzie was trying to figure out what the surprise was. She said, "I hate the suspense of surprises." Emma must have misheard, because she said, "Yeah I hate expensive surprises too."
We had lunch at Sonic and then went to the local farm for the afternoon. The weather was chilly but pretty nice. We went on a hayride and helped bottle feed the baby cows. It was just a great, great day. Today it is supposed to get up to 70 but not until evening when it'll rain... so far it's been hovering around 50 and is super windy so it feels really cold. Blecch.
This morning we went to the Easter egg hunt at Emma's school. It was fun but oh boy those things go fast. Emma said, "It's like 'go! Zing... done." They had face painting and the Easter bunny. The bunny costume was pretty bad - you could see arms, neck & socks sticking out - and Emma decided it's a "bunny's helper."
I hope all my DIS friends are having a great weekend. Ashley, I'm sorry your kitty isn't feeling well. Hopefully it's not a big deal and the antibiotics will fix him all up.
PS -- Emma has her hermit crab in her Easter basket!!
