He's doing his normal job. Serving his city.
Just they are being worked ridiculous hours because of this ridiculous event they are hosting. :(
And to add to the fun he can't even sleep at work as they aren't offering even camp beds like they said they would. So extra hours. Stupid run arounds. Double commute times.
It's insane :(

I am fine. Just a busy day for me today. Gotta take the computer back, it is missing a driver somewhere..:sad2:
That doesn't sound good. I know I've had issues with printer drivers not working and dying.
Hope you can get it sorted and it's not a 'bad' busy

Not a bad busy, I was looking for the cable for the printer. I had to go to fedex and print stuff out. Cost me $2.50 to print two pages. Then I was waiting on the gardner and then he canceled til monday. Its the little things that get ya

We were at the oral surgeon's office from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

The surgeon just called to check on DH and told him he'll probably have a black eye before he heals up. Right now he looks like chimpmunk cheek on one side.:rotfl: He's doing well though, better than last night.

Wow! what a great surgeon to call at this time and make sure everything is ok. I hope he heals quickly. The waiting is the hardest part...

That is a great surgeon.
When I had all four wisdoms out the surgeon rang a couple times during the next week as it was a tough op for him.
Hope DH comes though ok :thumbsup2

Queenie we must have a lot of aliens at my house.:lmao:
I agree...we have a house FULL of them :confused3

Is that from Men in black 3?
Never ended up seeing it.
It's just one of those funny lines people think up :goodvibes

And I agree...it is the little things that get ya. :headache:

Here is the "Arline update" that I sent to anyone in her family/friends that I have email addresses for. Unfortunately not all of her relatives have computers and that sucks. I can't keep calling all these people so I'm trying to do it via email.

Sometime during the night Wednesday night, they believe that Arline aspirated. Thursday morning the nursing home called me saying that her oxygenation was low and that they were concerned. They called 911 and the paramedics took her to Los Alamitos Hospital across the street. Yesterday she was diagnosed with pneumonia, a bladder infection and she evidently had a small stroke on the front of her brain. When Patric, Carrie and I saw her she was mildly alert, seemed to understand her situation, but couldn’t remember how she got there. She was stable overnight and showed improvement on the infections.

"Around 5AM they moved her from the ER to ICU, she was mostly stable until this afternoon when her oxygenation dropped dramatically. They put her on a mask and called a pulmonary specialist to take a look at her. No one could figure out why it happened, but they agreed that she needed to be placed on a ventilator before she coded. Last night she indicated to Dr. Josephson that if they needed to put her on a ventilator to get past the pneumonia, she was in favor of that. Throughout this entire time, she continues to ask me, “How’s Fran?” It’s time she needs to start taking care of herself! Keep her in your prayers.

Dr. Josephson hopes that she will be returning to the nursing home within a week or so, but at this point, we have to take every day at a time."

Ugh, Darcy is going to get here extra early tomorrow, so I'll say good night!

Thank you for the update. Will continue praying. Hope your dinner was good. Sleep well!

Dinner was frozen pizza, we bailed on the nice dinner. Fran was too much of a basket case. :sad2: I've fed the kids, so it's time to go to bed. I need to leave keys for Darcy because she has to show up early. she will start off feeding the kids and just doing stuff, she is worth $20 an hour because she actually knows what to do. Yasu is worthless, but I have to pay him $10 an hour because he has worked his way there, but has no clue unless I spoon feed it to him. He is just an idiot.

Thanks for the update. Absolutely fantastic that Arline has a faculties about and I hope she continues to improve. Sad that her family don't seem to want any responsibility.

Sleep well and I hope Fran is letting you have some rest as well.
