Just saw this. I only work part time, since I did not have to drive 1.25-1.5 hours to get to work today, I used that time to DIS. I am done working now.

That really sucks that you can't get anything live and here I thought we were only just catching up. Our primary broadcast channel is channel 9 and like NBC does pick and choose broadcast. But even it showed the opening ceremony live.
But our cable provider is basically a monopoly and it has 8 channels dedicated to the olympics.
The good part of which is you can DVR 3 sports on at once and watch the bit you want when you want. So I'm actually not watching much

Sigh. Nearly at work....
I don't so much mind going to work. It's just the eight hour wait to go home again that sucks....

I know. NBC is terrible with coverage. I keep hearing about everything before it airs, since it refuses to air anything live and social media takes away the element of surprise for delayed broadcasts. Our opening ceremony was delayed so much that I almost didn't watch it. People kept saying it stunk compared to Beijing. I did watch some of it despite the talk. I tried to stay off Facebook to get surprised on some events but saw the US female gymnasts won gold after logging in just long enough to send birthday greetings.

Your work comment was quite funny. Even though this is only my seventh day of work in nearly two years, I could not agree with you more. I did work from home today but it took me like 8 hours with the boys to log 5!

Just got home from band, thinking about second dinner, which is technically dinner because breakfast was at noon at Weinerschnitzel and lunch was at six at Del Taco so now it's dinner time!

The menu at the F&W Festival at EPCOT this year looks good.

I am going to tell u and the others that I might go to WDW during the Halloween season this year. I found out this afternoon from my relatives that they want to go to Orlando to see WDW. It is not official yet since they haven't decided if they want to go or not. Hopefully they will decide soon since it is getting closer to October. I was surprise to hear from them that they wanted to go to WDW in such a short time. If I did go, I would be a guide for them since I have knowledge of WDW. This will be a great opportunity to go back to WDW after I thought I wouldn't go back in awhile to Florida.

It was fine. The other night I had made this simple pasta sauce, your pesky vegetarian would have liked it, tinned tomatoes, garlic, basil and some crushed red pepper for kick. I had just enough left for a second helping so it hit the spot.

I just plan on eating almost everything, that's what makes it difficult. My stomach has shrunk since the last time we went so I'll have even more trouble trying to eat everything. I'll try and work it out in my head through my PTR as it gets closer.

Now I need to put my thoughts for Special Events down on paper.

What kind of special events during the F&W Festival the two of you are thinking of trying? After looking at the special events, I really want to try the Kitchen Memories with Chef Robert Irvine which is my favorite chef on the Food Network. His date is on the 26th.

I talked to my relatives today and they are going to WDW in October 26th to November 2nd this year. They asked me if I want to go and looks like I will be going. I am so excited to go to WDW during the Halloween season and during the F&W Festival which I was looking forward too.
