Tired! No, I didn't get any rest, we still have to finish cleaning out Arline's apartment and get it back on the market. We're talking $1500 per month that we're losing every month it is vacant.

I've never been into mens gymnastics. Too short and I don't like the short shorts
But I haven't even gotten into the womens much. Aussie girls all seemed a bit off beam...literally and figuratively...and the atmosphere doesn't seem right. Especially the stuffed up ticketing with the empty seats

It's funny the people watching it are at the whim of NBC given the age of technology we've reached.
I completely understand and respect not paying for cable but we have 8 Olympic channels coming through included if the sports channels are in your package. So I can watch anything live anytime it's on. Or I can record it for later or obviously it's reruns when it's not live.

Now the funny part is I'm probably more interested than usnuz and Alison but less than you other folks as I'm a winter sports gal.

Anyway. I'll see what's on tonight while I'm catching up on emails and dinner etc.

I think the dream team was happy to play just to play. Every team after has to show they are better than the dream team and they forget to play the game.


Soccer went ok. I switched a few things up which worked pretty well, but some kids were upset that they had to stay in position and not just take the ball down field to score at will. It was really to fix things that happened in our last game, which it mostly accomplished. I may stick with it next game or just modify it.

Yeah it's all way past point of no return and completely stuffed with pro vs non pro but they aren't a team playing thrill and as a team like they should.

The movie Miracle shows what the olympics should be for ice hockey as well as basketball. They should be building a team. Not egos.

I have never had an interest in basketball anyway but this system just doesn't bode well.

I like your soccer approach. It's the age they need discipline. But. I'm one of the kids who'd be upset. Lol. I don't like to share.

The US men's team won with no problem against France and it should be no problem against Tunisia. The 92 Dream Team is way better than the current team which is not that bad. This team is way better than the 04 Olympic team which took Bronze.

The game against Tunisia is tomorrow morning our time. I hope it ends up being no problem for the Dream Team.

I'm checking out the rowers and the swimmers instead. I missed seeing the men's US gymnastics but it sounds like there was an upset as they missed out on a medal.

I pay a lot for cable, since Crap insists we have all the channels available, and they must be in HD. NBC has exclusive rights to air the Olympics here, so free basic channel people are in the same boat as those who pay a lot. Once in a while, NBC will air something on a sister channel, like MSNBC (which may drop the MS soon, since NBC bought out Microsoft on that). There are times when only one channel airs anything. At other times, you can find programming on 2-3 channels. We never get 8 though. Must be nice to choose what to watch.

I was checking out an Aussie swimmer the other day. The US swimming team does not have any lookers IMO (at least that I have seen son far). The US team was not doing well when I was watching, but I was enjoying watching them anyway. They are all good looking. After all of the falls I saw, I am not surprised. Only the top 8 teams move on.
