Can't wait!!! I am proposing down there!!!

Congratulations!!! That's wonderful! When we were there last year someone proposed at the front of the castle - the crowds were huge but pretty much everyone stopped and applauded when she said "yes"! My 15yo DD and her 16 yo friend both started crying and said they will never marry anyone who doesn't propose to them at Disney World!
Have a wonderful trip!

Yes, I waited til tonight to book! Well. DH finally saw the light! :)
CBR 4 nights 5 days with Base Pass, FDDP w/ins $1063!

woo hoo we got 9/16-9/22 at POP so we are happy, the only thing i am worried about having the kiddos out of school. dh says that we should not worry too much , after all alot of people take their kids out. but on the hand book it states that kids can not be out for more than 3days without notice or you will be at risk of charge. do anyone else experience this? thanks.

What does "risk of charge" mean? Does that mean money? If so, that is:sad2: !

I teach fifth grade in New Jersey and I always tell parents the same thing about vacations during the year. Your child will remember this vacation for the rest of his/fer life. What I teach the week he/she is gone, will be taught to him/her over and over again by the time he/she gets out of high school. Go and enjoy your vacation!

Robin, I saw the same thing when I was around 14 and told my mother I wouldn't marry anyone unless they proposed at Disney. Thankfully my husband found that out right away and asked me at Epcot!

YES YES YES. You need to book any table service (sit down) meals you want to have! With the free dining promo, there is going to be little chance of being able to walk up to any restaurant when you are there. Call (407) wdw-dine and they will be able to make all of the reservations for you. You will not need a credit card for anything as long as you are on the dining plan!! Good luck! Reply backif you have any more questions!!

You really need to start working on this. Take a look at the menus on Deb's sites. http://allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm

Make a list of places your family will enjoy.

Check out the park hours for your dates. Try to come up with which parks you'll visit on each day.

Once that is done, plug in restaurants based on which parks you'll do each day. For example if you want to have lunch at Whispering Canyon Café, schedule it on a MK day not an AK day.

As soon as you have a plan call and book your ADRs.

You'll need a credit card to book CRT, Fantasmic dinner package and any of the dinner shows. They won't charge the card in advance since you're on the dining plan. They only charge it if you don't show up or cancel by a certain time.

Originally had Poly sept 2-9
Decided to do a split stay to save a little extra (and to be honest Poly looks amazing but I'm not sold yet on Deluxes being worth so much extra $$ - even with a discount) and to try two new resorts will be cool!
Sooo..

Went with CSR Sept 2-6 and than Poly from 6-9

YAY!!! party: YAY!!!

I hope I like CSR as much as I liked POR last year!!!

In our world you are late already.
We always book 180 + 10 to the day.
WE have our parks, CS and TS on a spread sheet.
You need to book your TS as soon as possible.
Last year we went the 2nd week of Aug. during free dining and tons of people were trying to get into TS Restaurants and were turned away because the didn't have their ADRs.
We also ate early CS usually by 11:00 because of insane crowds, like 30-45 min. waits.
They only need your credit card number for certain 2 credit Restaurant, shows.

9/22 - 29 POR (AB 27 or 28 hopefully), 7 day hoppers w/ air from Newark, NJ for 2958.02. can't wait.
DW & kids are excite too, DD9 told her teacher on thursday after we booked, teacher replied that "at the beginning of school is a bad time, and if i were your teacher, i wouldn't let you go" - i guess she didn't get the FD ressies she wanted??, maybe we'll send her a postcard.

We got POR Sept 1- Sept 9. Our first choice. We had to call late thursday 4/12, I was pleased that it was available.

Finally I was able to switch to POP.:banana::banana::banana: Doing the Happy dance!!!!:banana::banana::banana:

POP 9/21-10/1

But they wouldn't let me switch my cousin and I made her original ressie? Weird? The CM I was tlaking too also told me that if I switched I would loose my Free Dining package. I of course had to politly say otherwise.

Have hope...I called this morning 4/16. I was booked for 9/22 to 9/27 at POP because that was all I could get when I called on Friday, no other dates, no other values avail. This morning ASMu was available for my "real" dates, 9/20 to 9/27. So, looks like some cancellations have already happened.

Not thrilled with ASMu, but for free dining, we will take it!
